Was great to see him back on TV

It was absolutely fucking awful

Seriously, I got about 2 laughs out of the whole show.

The stand up bit was ok as usual but most of the sketches were rubbish.

The George Michael driving school make me laugh though.

Yeah, the sketches were as funny as having a tooth removed without anaesthetic.

The stand up was pretty good.

Iranian loose women was quite funny.

Iranian Loose women was a shocker. thought most of it was a let down though. Especially since all the stand-up was taken straight from his new DVD which I have just watched.

thought the knight rider sketch was hillarious.

I did as soon as he started writing for the sun.

i've gone off him quite a bit but i enjoyed this more than i expected to. only the green mile sketch was shit (and it was painfully shit) but the stand-up had a couple of great moments and some of the other sketches raised a few giggles. not brilliant but decent enough.

just bought his first stand up dvd.

was gonna buy the new one.

but the old one was cheaper.

I have to say I thought it was all fucking terrible . My heart sank when he bowled out and went robotically for the front row and churned out that charmless pre-rehearsed 'banter' he does 'you look like x' 'you look like y' 'you look like z with a dead baby on top'. His stand-up, (or the stand up he chooses to do, because I refuse to believe this is all he is capable of going by 70% of his Mock The Week stuff/the letter he wrote in defense of his 'Jew' joke) is so depressing, it's just the stuff you say amongst mates to try and shock each other, I can't imagine paying to see it. I think it sums it up that if you removed the words 'paedophile' 'rape' and 'cunt' from his vocabulary he would be completely hamstrung, it's not that you shouldn't do jokes about that stuff, but most his jokes purely rely on the shock value of the words rather than any sort of skill, which most frustratingly of all he does have. He's guaranteed an audience and payday whatever he does now, so why keep churning this shit out? I did laugh when George Michael done a wank though.
