Absolutely unbelievable Iain. What the utter fuck?! Seriously? What a cunt. You say he knew what he was getting into with that group, yet fancy seeing evidence of these death threats. Surely you know that there is a huge loony element to your support who wouldn't think twice about sending threatening letters and emails to people they perceive as being against them. For what it's worth, I haven't seen any of the threats, but heard it from the boys' mouth and seeing some of the posts on FF about it, know how badly you orcs are taking it. And seriously, shoosh up about hating Rangers more than loving our own team - just complete rubbish.
You expect me to believe you just cos he says so? no danger. I know there's a nutter element in our support. Just like I know if i did it to Celtic Aberdeen, hibs or any other team there'd be a backlash. He started that group for no other reason than he hates Rangers. Nothing more. He certainly didn't do it for sporting integrity reasons your mates an idiot if he thinks there wouldn't be any comeback and is now whining when it's gone pear shaped. Sorry but I have no sympathy for him. I don't want him to come to any harm obviously but apart from that , fuck him
He's actually not whining, despite me, and others, saying he should've gone to the Press about it. Fact is Iain, you're saying you would expect a backlash, yet don't believe he's had one. Totally idiotic. All I've said is that those sending the letters and emails are utter scumbags - something I doubt anyone, no matter how staunch a fan, could actually disagree with, but you come out all guns blazing blah blah blah. What a typical hun cunt you are if you actually believe he brought a single bit of this on himself. Whilst he obviously isn't a big fan of Rangers, the blog is definitely more an anti-SFA/SPL thing - and the 'end game' of it all, is the outcome that you passionately agree with - third division for any new team applying for membership. Doesn't even mention Rangers. The whole catalyst was how the SPL were saying they'd withhold money to the SFL if they didn't vote Rangers in, so the group was set up to counteract that very obvious blackmail. As I said though, it's embarrassing given it's never likely to change anything with the sums of money being banded about, just a couple of shitey token gestures... but wind your neck in - "he's brought it on himself" - rarely seen bigger shite posted on this site.

To be fair, I have absolutely no preference towards Celtic or Rangers but if I followed a Scottish league club I would have been vehemently against Rangers rejoining anywhere but the third division and could definitely see why someone so minded would do so without outright hating the club.

The fans have been fucked. Come the end of it, that's the main issue here. It may have only been two people that led to the downfall of Rangers - Murray and Whyte. In reality, more people will be guilty of acting hugely irresponsible, but we're still probably talking less than 20 people. A handful of people made decisions that brought down one of the world's largest sporting clubs... that should scare any football fan, especially with the current trend in England of foreign owners coming in and spending crazy amounts chasing a dream that is unattainable for them.

yeah it's always the fans that suffer. still feel sorry for leeds. even though that fanbase have got a right scummy element. leeds have been nearly 10 yrs outside the top flight now. don't see it taking rangers anywhere near that long. but still a big setback.

Go to the press then, why doesn't he? Im sure yous would love nothing more than to have thise big bad Rangers fans villified in the press once more. I'm not denying the threats or not, I just don't take the word of a basiacally a bitter fan as gospel. Alex Thomson the Channle 4 journo came out and said he'd been threatened by Rangers fans. Then when the polis started asking questions he backtracked and denied it. I don't trust anyone when they start saying shite like that. Fuck, even our good friend Blain threatened to stab me on here Nice to see you made it personal. Bigot name calling, thought that was just us that do that? Fuckng rocket He started a group knowing fine well what would happen. He's either daft, naive or just wanting to have a pop. Maybe all of the above. Course he brought it on himself, what exactly did he expect? Seriously, what kind of mongo thinks nothing would come from it

But then the SFA in their infinite wisdom have said we have a transfer embargo so cannae sign anyone. Seriously doubt we can field a team next year

Give an absolute shit what Nil by Mouth says.Only in Glasgow has it taken to mean 'protestant'. How can a citizen of Aberdeen, a city that must be 99.9% Protestant use it any way that is bigoted... I'm not arguing any further on this. My ONLY point is, people should not have to receive any letters or emails simply for starting a blog, and that those sending the letters and emails are scumbags. Have you read the blog? Only those bitter and twisted in the extreme could take even the slightest offence to it. It's a blog to raise cash for part-time football clubs and give gifts to non-football related charities. Yet, he's a mongo and deserves it. Good one you utter fucking chocolate. Seriously, you've written so much shite about this I can only assume you're winding me up

If Rangers can't field a team this season, which could be likely even if it's chocka with youth players, do you think you could survive? A year without football and therefore no income?

It's not that they left, it's the way they left and more specifically what they said when they left. Naismith was my favourite player, cracking wee player. On his day the best player in Scotland. But what he said when he left he's never welcome back at Ibrox. Boyhood Rangers fan my arse.

I'm not sure what he said, but it was pretty cuntish the way a lot of these players left.
Fair enough, few of them would play the 1st Division, let alone the 3rd. But they had negotiated such low buy-out clauses after going into admin, that if they'd transferred over to Newco, clubs would still be clambering over themselves to pay those fees. Would've been much needed income for the new club.
Naismith for example negotiated a reported £1.5m release fee, which Everton would surely have matched with ease had it been in effect. Wouldn't be surprised if they had a word in his ear, "don't transfer to Newco and we'll give you a £500k signing on fee" - save themselves £1m and Naismith pockets half a mil whilst Rangers get sweet fuck all. Similar situations with the rest of the players that left in a hurry. On one hand, can't blame them for milking it - but when the entire club is at risk it's pretty low.

Now they are trying to take away 5 league titles and 4 Cups when will it end! Utterly pathetic tbh. The SFA can try to take away whatever they want, but those players won them fairly. They deserve their medals and I will still have the memories. Im not sure whether I should be angry or pity the Tims that have already declared they should be given the titles. Would anyone seriously celebrate a title you didn't win when your rivals were going through a period of severe downsizing? PS Celtic has an EBT for Juninho so that title will go to whoever was 3rd that year. That's oly fair. Plus they had a dual contract for Nakamura's image rights so again, whoever was 3rd those years I congratulate you. Whoever said the SPL was a 2 horse race

More bad news for rangers ? EA Sports has yet to make a decision regarding gaining a separate licensing agreement that's required to include Rangers in FIFA 13. The Scottish club, who is now a new company entitled Rangers Newco, was forced to the Scottish Third Division. A spokesperson for EA Sports has said while FIFA 13 will still include the Scottish Premier League and the 12th team that will replace Rangers, the club's inclusion in the game seems far from certain.
