I'm sure the board are anxiously awaiting to see what their star rating in the demo will be.

Now they are trying to take away 5 league titles and 4 Cups when will it end! Utterly pathetic tbh. The SFA can try to take away whatever they want, but those players won them fairly. They deserve their medals and I will still have the memories. Im not sure whether I should be angry or pity the Tims that have already declared they should be given the titles. Would anyone seriously celebrate a title you didn't win when your rivals were going through a period of severe downsizing? PS Celtic has an EBT for Juninho so that title will go to whoever was 3rd that year. That's oly fair. Plus they had a dual contract for Nakamura's image rights so again, whoever was 3rd those years I congratulate you. Whoever said the SPL was a 2 horse race This is ridiculous tbh. A mate of mine (also a Dons fan) was on the work e-mails earlier saying he'd be "outraged" (he gets that way easily tbf) if we didn't get the 2000 cup trophy. We got pumped 4-0 ffs

We got pumped 4-0 ffs I was at that game, clearly the fact we used EBT's made Leighton lose his teeth and Robbie Winters go in goal for the majority of the match Thing that gets me is that the SFA haven't even started an investigation into the whole EBT'S/ dual contract thing yet are handing out punishments already? Something stinks imo

We got pumped 4-0 ffs There's a few eejits wanting it. If Rangers are stripped of titles/cups (don't care whether they should be or not, I'd say there is a stronger argument that they should be though*), they should show in the record books as Withheld or something that year. What we gonna do? Have an open-top bus down Union Street for winning the cup 12 years ago? I don't support Aberdeen cos I'm into cup counting, it's ridiculous to think anyone could take any pride over a trophy in such circumstances. *We've got to bear in mind that even if the EBTs were illegal in the way they used, surely it's only an issue if the dual contract investigation comes back badly on Rangers. The dual contract is the smoking gun to find out whether Rangers were 'cheating', or just badly advised.

The EBT'S were in our accounts every year and were signed off. They were declared to the SFA each year as they were NOT ILLEGAL. The SFA knew about these but only now want this punishment. If I wasn't so angry then I'd piss myself at the whole thing. Once again the SFA are showing their complete fucking inability to run a piss up in a brewery
Can anyone help me get my head around this, if HRMC haven't decided on this how can the SFA hand out punishments without any kind of trial/investigation? As I said something stinks here

It's beyond a joke! Punish Rangers by letting their players leave and only allow 5 over 25s in the squad then block any more transfers for 1 year. Take off 10 points for next 3 seasons and no Europe for one and there is your problem solved. Ethically they should be stripped of everything and sent to the lowest league possible but financially they need to stay strong. You hear people on the football phone in saying '' Well we managed without Sky before '' NO WE DIDNT! we had Sky then as per usual we thought we could do better and went to Setanta who shat the bed then we had to crawl back to Sky again who gave us the shittest deal knowing we'd accept. No one is gonna want to watch Inverness vs St Johnstone on a week to week basis. Dunfermline couldn't pay players wages last season because Rangers hadn't paid upfront for their away support. Thats 1 game. These wee teams rely on the ticket money from Celtic and Rangers and without it they will crumble, the only way they won't do that is if they go back to grass roots football which will take the Scottish game down a level again. It's a no win situation for Scottish football which is already on it's knees. If it was a private vote where the chairmen could vote in a proper manner rather than it being made into a freakshow and fans getting their noses in then Rangers would still exist in the SPL.
I hate everything about Rangers and what they stand for, what they done is wrong and should be punished but we're not the Italian league who can afford for one of it's big names to go down to the lower leagues and work their way back up. This is Scotland where players like Ian Black ( one of Hearts' best players who was released last year - a joke in itself ) had to go and work as a painter and decorator for afew weeks after the Hearts chairman never paid their wages.
Best thing we could both do now is buy one of the shitty English teams, move all our assets and start in England because it seems the only way now.

And to top it all the SPL are blocking our licence to play football as they want a slice of Rangers media rights over the next season So they vote us out of the top league but still want the cash from a TV deal we'll make when in the SFL and are using this to basically blackmail us to get our football licence. Seriously fucked up. Friday is D-day, if we don't have our licence then we won't play football next year. If that happens then I fear the worst. With any luck Regan will get his "social unrest" he claimed would happen. And I hope it's in his and Doncaster front fucking room. Utter cunts

Craig Whyte didn't pay National Insurance and PAYE and should be punished. But no one really seems to be chasing him. The club, us fans, are getting the punishment for that cunt. We have been fined, demoted to the lowest division, had any European revenue taken away, points deducted, had our tv and money for coming 2nd taken and had all our decent players allowed to leave for nout. There's not much more they can do but they want to stop us signing anyone. Oh and want us to have our titles taken, even though most are suggesting we are a brand newco Club? If we are a newco how can you punish us for the oldco? Ridiculous You say we should be stripped of title etc. but the whole EBT thing hasn't even been decided. They aren't illegal, it's HOW they get used is what's the crux of the argument. This myth that "Rangers cheated and used tax evasion EBT's" is pish. They were in RFC's accounts every year and the SFA knew about them. HRMC decided that the loophole should be challenged and changed and that's where it all started. Nothing has been decided whether they are illegal. So no, no titles can be stripped til that's been decided.

So they effectively spent a bt less on wages whilst the players pocketed a bit more... Kind of cheating really apparently some premier league teams have done it to and if hmrc wins the test case against rangers there will be chaos.

Nothing has been decided whether they are illegal. So no, no titles can be stripped til that's been decided. To be fair, you's were demoted because you were liquidated. Not a punishment really, a consequence. And also, how would stripping Oldco's titles be punishing Newco? It would be 'rectifying' history and nothing to do with Newco. As you say though, not even an issue at this stage. I'm not going to get bogged in the details, but I am genuinely confused how Newco can claim the history of Rangers, but not the liabilities (ie the big tax case that would sink almost any club in the world if it goes against ya, let alone a 3rd division team). End of the day I suppose, if there's a team that plays in blue, red and white at Ibrox, of course everyone's going to say it's the same team that won all those trophies, and rightfully so, regardless of what the official record books end up saying. And Blain, shoosht will ya. The Dunfermline situation is a terrible example. The Pars had splashed out for policing and a 5% admin charge on every away ticket(which all us diddies get charged by you fuckers; cunt tax). THEN Rangers never paid up. If, for example, they had got a derby again Raith Rovers, chances are Raith Rovers would've taken a sizeable crowd too. If Raith had turned around and said "actually Yorkston, you fat cunt, we're nae paying you for those tickets", Dunfermline would've been in the same situation of not being able to pay their players. Using your logic that means we should bend over backwards to keep Raith in the top flight if they were going out of business. If someone owes you ten grand, and you budget for getting that money... you're going to be fucked if you don't get it. That's it. Dunfermline don't have a game against any of the Old Firm next season... let's see how many times they don't pay their players. I'd wager zero, cos every away team in the 1st will pay for what tickets they buy. Even though they'll be less of them. The crowd argument is largely bullshit. The TV money will be reduced and it's here that I fear for the rest of us. However, the quality was unbelievably bad anyway, and I still love my team. The Tims made integrity a dirty word, but I really would've fell out of love with my team if we'd let a brand new club, free of all debts, start again in the top division, all so they can continuing sucking on Murdoch's tits. It would've been a kick in the balls. I know Aberdeen have no chance of winning the league each time the season kicks off, but if we'd let Rangers back in at the top, the diddies would have been as good as admitting they are only there to provide Rangers and Celtic some gullible cunts to play them. And that would be a kick in the balls I couldn't take. Im fucking pissed and up for work in 6 hours

Thanks SJ. Will be streaming it tonight. Good thing is the commentary is In Gaelic which will be infinitely better than burley or Kevin's or any other wank I'm delighted after all the shite we're back to playing football. Ian Black has signed I used to hate him and he is a right cunt on the park. But he's our cunt now. Our journey from the 3rd division back to the top is going to be glorious and one of the best sports stories going. Probably going to be a film made about it. Robert Duvall will be back, Christopher walken to play Neil Donaster, dawn French to play Peter Lawell, Ally McCoist as himself and monkeytennis to play me
