Everton make enquiry for Kieran Richardson according to sky sports. Good player but I'd probably sell at the right price.

Nah he's a good player to have in the squad. Can play in a number of positions. He's never let us down.

We've signed Romain Amalfitano, a 22 year old French midfielder from Stade Reims on a 3 year contract. The first of many signings this summer. He'll be worth £15m by christmas.

Sunderland;s billls are starting to come in, I think they'll have to sell a few players this summer. Would take Richardson for £1m or so.
We don't really have any cover for Baines, other than playing Distin out of position. He's ok there but against a decent winger he's found wanting.

Theres been talk of Richardson leaving for a while. O'Neill has money to spend regardless and the fee would be about £4 million or it wouldnt be worth our while.

Can't see you lot shelling out millions this summer why would O'neill say hes targeting the top 6 if we were skint. and hes already said our best 2 players sess and mclean are going nowhere. maybe he thinks he can do it on a shoestring (something he has never done before) nah I dunno, just saying what it said in the paper. On another note, do you think you can finish top 6?? bearing in mind City, Man U, Arsenal and Chelsea will no doubt be up there, it leaves you needing to get one of 2 positions which, Spurs, us, Liverpool and Everton will all be competing for. It's going to take major investment and hoping that us and Spurs lose major players and don't replace them, and hoping that Everton start badly as usual, while Liverpool don't actually appoint someone half decent.

nah we'll finish between 7th and 14th again and try and have a decent cup run unless Ellis Short gives him something daft to spend.
