Liverpool PLC's bills are coming in now. I can see Kuyt being the first of many transfers this summer with nobody coming in. It's instructive that he went so cheaply.
King Kenny has well and truly fucked up Liverpool PLC.

Sunderland being linked with Aiden McGeady. No surprise as O'Neill had him at Celtic.

I'd like to see aqua back. He'd fit right in apps.facebook.com/theguardian/football/2012/jun/03/euro-2012-italy-secrets-playersAlberto Aquilani It appears that there are more and more players in the Italian national team with political sympathies leaning towards the right. One player who has never hidden his political views is Alberto Aquilani who, when he was a kid playing for Roma, had several busts of Benito Mussolini in his house, which his uncle had given to him. Aquilani has also frequently criticised immigrants in Italy, saying that they only create problems. In an interview in 2008, the midfielder said: "There are too many foreigners in the country – most of the violence and trouble you see is caused by them. My uncle is very keen on Mussolini and he gave me some things to do with him. I have a statue and a few photographs and portraits of Mussolini at home. But as for me, I don't know anything about politics."

Very pleased to see Chris Hughton get the Norwich job. Done a great job here and forever be a hero for the way he sorted out the mess.
Also, a new 8 year contract for Graham Carr. Absolutely amazing news, the mans a genius.

Top player - certainly not ready for the Prem just yet but he literally pissed on us - on his own at our place last season. Then scored the goal of the season.
Great talent.

If he "literally" pissed himself at gillingham, then Fergie better start stocking up on toilet paper at OT.

looks like arsenal have signed olivier giroud for £12m If that will end up being true it is a very, very good signing. the bbc are reporting that it is all but done. haven't really seen him play, is he just a pure goalscorer or does he have a bit more about his game?

He's been the best player in the league this year. And that's saying a bit as the French league has become more competitive these past few years.
He's a goal scorer yes, but he's strong and is not afraid of attacking. And he is very good in linking the flow of the play from midfield to the attack when necessary.
