Lille attacker Eden Hazard, 21, has dropped the biggest hint yet about his preferred Premier League destination. The Belgian has declared that he will "definitely" be wearing blue next season
spanish press saying that barca have agreed a €40m deal for gareth bale. probably fake but i'd absolutely love this move to happen, for a number of reasons (lolspurs, busquets/alves/bale forming the worlds foremost synchronised diving trio, the sheer confusion of all the monkey noises in the stadium) but the main one being that i think he'd be really, really, really fucking good there as a left sided copy of dani alves.

seems a bit low given some of the previous figures banded about.
I find it very disgusting (although quite previsible) if they pay that amount of money for Bale and still got Jordi Alba for just 10m. Bale is an amazing player, but no way in this world there's that much difference between them.

Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp has rejected reports that Barcelona have agreed a fee for Gareth Bale. Spanish newspaper Marca on Friday morning suggested that Spurs had sanctioned Bale's departure to Camp Nou for a fee of 40million euros (£32million). Bale admitted last month that he would not be able to turn down a move to the Catalan giants and Barca defender Dani Alves said in a recent interview that the Welshman would fit in well with their squad. However, Redknapp insists the 22-year-old will not be leaving White Hart Lane this summer.
Not a chance
"I don't know anything about [the story linking Bale with Barcelona]," insisted Redknapp. "I wouldn't think there is the slightest bit of truth in that. "Not a chance, I wouldn't have thought." Wales international Bale shot to prominence with a series of stunning displays in the UEFA Champions League last season and has caught the eye again for Spurs this term.
No point even guessing any names these days as a Newcastle fan, as we end up buying cheap gems from abroad who we would never guess. Pardew done a phone in last night though as did give us a few indicators for positions.
First of all he said Danny Simpson and his agent aren't happy with the contract he has been offered as he thinks hes worth more so unless they have a change of heart he will be away. I hope he doesn't have a change of heart, he is by far the weakest player in our first choice team. Supposedly been offered £25,000 a week which would be triple his current salary probably. He would be an idiot to leave though, I don't know where he thinks he can go.
Danny Guthrie is another one who's away and I'll be sad to see him go. His contracts up and he wants to be first choice but Pardew can't give him that so he leaves with his blessing. He's improved massively this season as well, biggest compliment I could give him is we didnt really miss Tiote a few months ago when he was injured/away. Be a very good signing for someone.
Pardew said he wants a top new centre back who is a threat from set pieces, as we have not been good enough from them this year. Wants a centre back capable of getting 7 or 8 goals. We've been widely linked with Douglas. Also wants another young centre back who we've had on trial who he thinks is gonna be a great player.
He said he wants to buy Cabaye's mate as well "so theres a hint for you". Well that seems a massive giveaway, Mathieu Debuchy who would be Simpsons replacement.
So theres a right back and 2 centre backs confirmed targets. Music to every Newcastle fans ears as our biggest weakness this season has been at right back and strength in depth of our centre backs. With Guthrie away and Best available as well then we will also be targeting a centre midfielder and striker. There will probably be a lot of incomings (a lot being youngsters) and I'd imagine we'll see Vuckic feature a lot more promoted to a first team player.
Aye I think Ba will leave with that clause in his contract. He hasnt looked very happy since he came back in January, and he's spoke about wanting to play for PSG in the future. We've looked much more dangerous in the 4-3-3 formation with him on the left on the 3 but he doesn't seem to get in any goalscoring positions in that formation and he doesnt seem to enjoy it. Love him but I'd rather lose him than Cisse or Ben Arfa.
Tiote possibly. A club will have to pay big money for Tiote and I dont think its certain he'll leave but for the fee we would get I wouldn't be too gutted about it. Obviously id prefer to keep him, but he is replaceable and it seems he has a £20m price tag on his head
Don't think anyone else will pay the money we'd want for our players really and don't think many of the others would be in a hurry to leave. What would we demand for Cisse now? Absolutely ridiculous price.
Assuming one or two of Tevez/Balotelli/Dzeko leave, we need another striker, obvs. Need some support for silva (I quite liked what little I saw of Pizzaro), and need a bit more depth in central defence.
Also, a replacement for the mighty Owen Hargreaves is a must. I'll never forget the 5 minutes he played for us. Legend.
