he's definitely got something special about him, will be interesting to see if his schtick doesn't get too tired quickly.

I saw him on Friday at Wickerman. He was okay, but you can't really judge someone if you've never bothered listening to them before. He looks about 14 however.

Heard a few tracks & sure he sounds like someone who digs the La's but to me it sounds like a sterile version. I'll check the album out, he seems to have a knack for a decent hook but I'd be surprised if it doesn't end up being anything other than another average Miles Kane type.

just listening to the lp thats leaked. after initially being really sceptical about him i can safely say the lp is a really pleasant suprise full of top tunes.

just nabbed a ticket to see him live in february.

Not a bad little album, though. It won't be my album of the year but he has the knack for writing a catchy tune.

Yeah, surprisingly (at least for me) consistent throughout.

Minus the two upbeat singles the music is as bland as the artwork. I'm surprised anybody can honestly say they think he's any good. It's like hearing John Power solo all over again.
