Loved his first album, his 2nd album was terrible. Saw him live a few years ago...and now I never want to hear his music again.

Can't believe how bad the NME has fallen.
Back in the day I used to get up early every week to go and buy it, now I can't even be arsed picking it up for free in those stands at the front of tesco.

Probably the worst thing about the new free NME is it's too scared to be a straight music magazine. You're lucky if there's one feature with a band/singer per week. It's trying to appeal to as broad a range of readers as possible so goes in for piss-weak film reviews and puff pieces you could read a 1000 other places. If it's not going to seriously promote new music it's finished.

I must say on the web they have a few decent sections, some extended interviews and once in a while upping little American bands that are not your typical NME shit. There's also a lot of bullshit too, but not all is bad.
