Who's the Saturday headliner supposed to be? Metallica?

Yeah, they are doing some big rock festival, think at knebworth? So they probably can't announce it. I don't care for them and it feels an odd choice but I think it'll end up going down well.
Didn't get a ticket so I'm not too arsed, just glad Prince isn't there otherwise I would have cried. Line-up is OK, though that isn't even half of it so I'm sure there will be more than enough for anybody with decent taste to have a great weekend.

Wonderwall is clearly a classic but what's the obsession in covering it? Cat Power, Ryan Adams, (Adam Lal)Lana Del Rey.
At least Elliott Smith did Supersonic.

At least it will end on a high with Kasabian.

I'm sure Kasabian's set will be big. But I dunno if I'd want to watch two hours of it.

I BET YOU DON'T BIG UP KASABIAN WHEN YOU'RE WITH YOUR CHUMS AT THE SKINNY Chums? I had a ten minute chat in person with the music editor two years ago. Since then I've just sent stuff in on email. There's fuck all drinking lattes, or anything social about it. I can't comment about how they do things on the new 'North West England' edition of course. My Kasabian credentials ain't in doubt. I've got a signed copy of Processed Beats, ffs.

I missed out on ticket this year, can't say I'm gutted as far the the lineup goes. Obviously it'll be fucking great still but I was expecting to be a lot more disappointed.

Fuck this corporate nonsense, I'm going to End Of The Road sleeping between a tree and an earthworm. I won't return eating lentil soup with my sleeves rolled up though, don't worry, instead I'll be getting shit-faced without the big queues. Last year Eels and Belle & Sebastian played, year before Joanna Newsom. A bit gutted in that respect but that's still a decent lineup.
