Which you'd think would sound shit but if they were about then it'd of been a huge record. Reminds me of the first Blur record, early Charlatans. Nothing special but it's a solid record. |

meant to post in this thread ages ago actually saying one of my favourite surprises of this year is how good the new dan michaelson and the coastguards album is.
hes the bloke who fronted absentee and whilst his first few solo lps were ok this one i find myself really drawn to and keep going back to it. some real beautiful tunes.

It's a bit darker, heavier and gloomier than I last remember them.
