It's a bad indication you're discussing about whose songs are worse instead of who has better ones.

He sold 'Only the strongest will survive' to The Sun to use on their TV advert. He's a complete and utter sell out. Had his moment over 20 years ago with Ride. Since then he has wrote shit song after shit song. His role in Oasis was embarrassing, his songs for Oasis were a disgrace. I feel sorry for Liam especially when he's in a band with Gem Archer aswell. cool story Noel

I'm sure I'll play it a few more times before their eventual toronto show, but yeah...I'm back on other stuff and primal scream.

"Robbie Williams has hit back at Liam Gallagher, saying that his interviews are "better than the records". Gallagher criticised the former Take That singer in an expletive-ridden interview this week, calling him a "f**king fat f**king idiot" for playing Manchester City's Etihad Stadium. Williams told The Sun that he wished Gallagher's band Beady Eye were as interesting as the comments he makes to journalists. He said: "The interviews are better than the records at the minute. I really enjoy the interviews. Liam is like an episode of Star Stories." Williams added of Beady Eye's latest album BE: "The production is really good. There are a couple of tunes that would have been f**king amazing if they had a chorus. "'Flick of the Finger', nearly a great tune. 'Start Anew', if that had a chorus, but there is no chorus." The 'Candy' singer also suggested that Liam's brother and former Oasis bandmate Noel Gallagher should join the group to improve their fortunes. He said: "They are missing The General. I've heard 'Second Bite of the Apple', I don't know why nobody said anything. "When you listen to them you think, 'Please put a chorus in - it will be brilliant'. They are not going to have a character brave enough to tell Liam that.""

Would love to see the Robster in the Eye, chief funkmaster in charge of beats. Bring some of that Rudebox flex to the show.

Christ! I think the answer to why the words and music don't hang together is because its an abysmal song written by an abysmal songwriter who would sell the rights to it in an instant if The Sun newspaper offered him enough cash. Nah, that's not the answer, Jimbo. It's the wobblieness of the vocal melody for me. It's not that it doesn't fit, it's just a bit odd. Probably 'cos we're not used of Liam pushing the boundaries of his voice like this. If Noel had wrote this song, his fans would be gushing over it. I wouldn't have picked it as a Bell tune - thought it was a Gem/Liam one. The odd bits vocally are where Liam has to rush through the lines to make it fit - like " Memories last not forever butprettylong" Every lyric site I've seen says the preceding line is " Happy despising a moment ( ), maybe it's all" - I know that the first part is "Happiness dies in a moment" but what's the next bit?

The album would be stronger if they replaced:
Face the Crowd Soon Come Tomorrow I'm Just Saying Ballroom Figured Shine a Light
with:
World's Not Set in Stone Off at the Next Exit Evil Eye.
Soul Love, Second Bite, Start Anew, need a bit more work. The outro to Soul Love is boring. Second Bite is underwhelming.

I'm talking about All Around The World Barny which Nooooooooolll sold to AT&T. A tax dodging corporation. With an excellent dividend, it you can't beatem, joinem! I really like the new record. 7 of the 10 songs are solid! Not sure why people demand classics and 10 for 10. Very few records/bands ever do that.

who is their drummer? cos he is well boring and seems to be holding lots of these songs back. the drums go absolutely nowhere and it might as well just be some shitty drumloop in the background.
and liam has really really lost his voice. wasn't this album about "man i can still sing fookin students blahblah"? cos he sounds wheezing on half of the tracks

Yeah it's his worst vocals on an album ev0r sadly, actually digs in to the enjoyment of some of the tunes, which has never happened before for me. Sometimes a bit too noticably thin and wobbly innit.
I like it overall though. Deleted the fuck out of Face The Crowd and Don't Brother Me fookin years ago m8 so it feels like a pure solid record when I listen now.
DID WE EVER FIND A WAY TO STEER THROUGH THE COLD LIGHT OF DAY - manfeelings

The bippity-bop is the best thing since Lee Mavers uttered ''boom-boom'' on the kitchen tape. It also goes ''breathe in, breathe out and then breathe in a gay''

Disagree with this, the drumwork is by no means spectacular but they fit the bill nicely I think. His work on Flick of the Finger is especially good.

and then on soul love he plays the same thing through hole song. one reason why it feels that there are no choruses is that there are no dynamics on this album. oh well.
