Had to switch the game off after Grealish came on. Lee Dixon was clearly pulling the cock off himself every time Jack got fouled and I just couldn't take it any more. I'll not be watching the final either. England will win it, and I can't bring myself to see it happen. Enjoy the day, I know I won't.

What a game. We deserved to go through. The better team across the 90 minutes and extra time by some distance. Other than the free-kick, Denmark didn't really trouble us that much but it was still absolutely nerve-shattering. Seeing lots of people say we were lucky because we shouldn't have gotten a penalty, which is fair enough because I don't think it was a penalty, but then the free-kick Denmark scored from was soft. Then there was the shout later in the 90 for a penalty when Kane was fouled. So really, it all evens itself out in the end.
Italy will be a tough, tough game but I think we're definitely in with a shout of winning it. Home advantage and the crowd on our side could make a difference. Italy were a bit lucky against Spain. There's been a lot of talk about how solid Bonucci & Chiellini are but Spain found ways through quite easily at times and if they would've had a competent striker on the pitch, it might've been a different outcome. Harry Kane is far less likely to miss those kinds of clear-cut chances so hopefully we get at them and open them up a bit.
Also, Harry Maguire, how good has he been? Gets a lot of flack because of the price tag but I think based on his performances at this tournament, teams would be more than happy to pay £80,000,000 for him. Hope he carries this form into next season for Utd and that they buy a decent centre-back to play along side him.
It it coming home? Who knows, but honestly, just to see England get to the final of a major tournament is amazing. Never thought I'd see it. I experienced my first heartbreak with England when they got beat in the semis of Germany at Euro 96, and ever since, the heartbreaks have kept coming. Brazil in 2002, Portugal in 2004, Portugal in 2006, Germany in 2010, Italy in 2012, the horror show of 2014 when we didn't get out of the groups, being embarrassed by Iceland in 2016, and then coming ever so close to the World Cup final vs Croatia in 2018. Heartbreak after heartbreak. But now we're in the final of Euro 2020. We've got a great squad - young, plenty of quality, plenty of depth. We've executed some demons and now we're ready to make history.
Sunday night is going to be an emotional one, that's for sure.

Pleased to be proved wrong on my pre-tournament assessment.
3 buts.
1. We've won fuck all. 2. We've had a very easy run of games. 3. We struggled past an average Denmark team, missing their best player, with a very dodgy pen and an own goal.
However, we're in a final for the first time in a couple of generations and are playing like an intelligent team with no shortage of talent.
Sunday will be a step up again but we've been improving with each step so far. We might actually fucking win it!

We are wise to you Karl, Chiellini will dominate Kane and the Italian press is already on top of any shenanigans. For example, UEFA helping England advance as a favor to Boris Johnson.

I wouldn't say the run of games was that easy tbh. It also wasn't the toughest run but definitely not the easiest. Italy had a trickier path to the final having to see off Belgium and Spain but we had to beat some decent sides. Also, I don't think we struggled against Denmark. We were in control for a lot of the game and created plenty of chances while also defending well when Denmark we're getting at us. By the time extra time came around, Denmark looked absolutely shagged to pieces because they were chasing us for large periods of the game. As for the own goal, it's not like it was some freakish error. Kane played a blinding pass and Saka got it across the goal. Regardless of who it touched last, it was a very well worked goal. And yeah, dodgy penalty, but then they probably shouldn't have got the free kick that they scored off, and we probably should have had a penalty earlier in the game, so it's swings and roundabouts really. Italy is going to be a very tough game for sure. I think we have a squad that is very capable of beating Italy, and we have the home advantage and a raucous crown on our side which could be effective in getting England motivated and fired-up.

Not a chance in hell Burnley v2 beats Italy.
The commentary and hype that surrounds this England team is laughable and has never been this extreme.
“oh! and here’s Grealish! he’s built for moments like this” how is he?
“I don’t care if Sterling dived”. Right.
STEVENAGE FC FANS IN DREAMLAND!
