Yup I dont think most people are bothered with this boxset as we have most of those demos/live tracks anyway
The MG & BHN extras on the other hand will be immense

Bought the cassette. I would love to have the big book that comes with the deluxe box set, but I'm not willing to pay £100 for it like. The next two are definitely more exciting, but can't see why anyone would moan at these, they are a nice bonus.

Just noticed that video as well, strange why they'd go to the effort of putting that up when they've just stole most other video's from random youtube users. Doubt Knebworth will come with the WTSMG boxset though, they'll release it separately and milk it

Its looking like it's gonna be the first night when they do, all the clips I've seen from official releases etc seem to take footage from the first night.

I still wonder how anyone can "remaster" a record like Be Here Now. Take 3000 guitar tracks off But then it will be shit That would be remixing, not remastering. |

How can you remaster songs that already sound the bollocks? Don't get it. Next they'll be remastering Giants to make it sound less experimental - in fact I'm surprised Noel hasn't already suggested it  |

Reading the stories and hearing the songs randomly on Owen's site is tearjerking you lot, although admittedly it makes it better I'm off work tomorrow and having a few Stellas to them "Noel put the bass guitar down…..it was only a day or so later that Guigs left the band: I think no one was taking notice of him having a bit of a break down…..certainly we didn’t consider his feelings in the studio, which I regret. Saying that, on Be Here Now, I’d get Nick Brine to record Guigs, and then I’d comp it. So again I didn’t give him proper attention in the studio. Years later Bonehead let slip to me that Guigs fucking hated me. I thought we’d got on fine, but looking back I can see how he’d’ve disliked being the least respected musician in the studio……as his producer, I let him down. Though he could’ve said something at the time…." Guigs, loved him |

It was quite an interesting read and basically said it wasn't mastered properly and got taken into the Sony machine too early. It's not all about Alan McGhee so he must have had a pop at him in there.
