Morrissey is supposed to be going back in the studio to record a record February. Also Beck was due to have another out this year so hopefully that'll see the light of day next year.
Hoping we'll get another Bowie record sometime soon too.

no chance will we see another morrissey album next year. didnt he have this this last one ready for years but didnt have a record label to release it. i cant imagine his run in with harvest has done him many favours in that department. maybe he could try yellow peril?

The other day I felt like hearing something new, saw The Decemberists one had leaked and thought there wasn't a better moment than December for listening to them. But gave a listen to the two advances and decided they aren't my thing.
I can't recall right now any big releases I'm expecting bar THE LIBERTINES. Maybe Wilco, BRMC, The Strokes, Deerhunter.

Can't see BRMC releasing anything next year as Leah has just undergone brain surgery.

I don't know why, but my brain didn't process the "he was announcing", so I just read "Last I heard of him was he was gay and doing some solo stuff". Reads much funnier that way.
