Fans of indie guitar bands will almost certainly like The Districts - A Flourish and a Spoil. A tidy little album. Nothing new - can hear bits of The Strokes, The Walkmen, The Libs and even a little Arctic Monkeys in there. I really wasn't keen on the that record. I think it was the production.

It grabbed me straight away, full of hooks i thought. But, i think it'll have quite a short shelf life. Will get bored of it very quickly. (however, I think Young Blood is one of the tracks of the year).
A friend recommended a record to me last week and i've given it three listens through is Milo - So The Flies Don't Come
Brilliant west coast hip hop.

Check out Milo Takes Baths from 2012, his best work by far. Everything he's done since has been decent, yet hasn't grabbed me in the same way.
