It's a solid album - I'm already skipping 2 of the songs; While the song remains the same and The Mexican are very boring, both worse than Do the damage.
Lock all the doors, You know you can't go back, The dying of the light and Ballad of the mighty I are the highlights (though I'll admit Ballad took a long time to win me over).

the rest of the album is good.Wish he'd just give up on shitty slow songs and gave us a whole album of "fast" tunes that lasted 3 minutes tops or made a SOTSOG album with good production.
The right stuff , lock all the doors and you know we can't go back are the best I've heard from Noel since he quit the band that had a screeching cat for a lead singer

I really dont excpect Noel to release a collection of fast-rocking 3min songs, and if he would, Id prefer Liam on vocals...Noel's voice just doesnt make for a solid rock album. Now that Ive gicen the album quite a few spins Id say I got quite tired of the ballad of the mighty Noel...its just too slick and dickless..no edges!but yeah its also a decent tune, just a bit too polishes for my personal taste..too much like a coldplay tune. |
