Main influences are cited as Fleetwood Mac, Hendrix & Sabbath. This could be huge, a possible contender for AoTY.

I'd rather make a top of the old records selected

Are you okay, barny? What are you trying to say?

Struggling to get into the new Melt Yourself Down LP, their debut was one of my favourites of the past few years. This is pretty much the same type of thing again, but the tunes just aren't grabbing me at the moment. Came around to it, enjoying it a lot now. Not had the same effect as the debut, but good stuff.

Are you okay, barny? What are you trying to say? sometimes I have no idea what Barny is talking about. But having said that, I agree with Barny!

Cate Le Bon was surprisingly added to the NOS Primavera lineup so that's a excuse to give a chance to that record that everyone's talking wonders about. From the little I've heard I've noticed those Captain Beefheart touches, but also something made me think about of Montreal, who are closer than you might initially think.

I did but didn't leave a big impression tbh, although there were one or two tunes that I'd like to revisit

Yeah, I've been listening over the last few days. Quite enjoy it, though there's something about that I'm not quite sure about. I'm seeing them next week and everywhere I read about them says they work better live. So hoping that'll help it click more.

I like that Whitney album, it's hard to watch any videos on youtube as I found out the singer is the drummer. I hate that, looks so PONY.

Quite enjoyed the new Car Seat Headrest record on first listen. Their record from last year left such a little impression that I can't remember a thing about it, but this one has some great moments.

Curtain Twitcher followed by Take It made me sit up and pay attention

Really enjoying the little I've heard/found of this strange Korean band
YOU CAN'T EVEN FIND THEIR TRACKS ON SOULSEEK

Strongly recommend The LimiƱanas. They're a French band who sound a bit Serge Gainsbourg, a bit Velvet Underground and a bit Raveonettes.
They also have a track which randomly features Peter Hook.

Yeah they are a decent band. Their record from a few years back "Crystal Anis" was pretty sweet. The new one has some decent moments.
Just downloaded the new BADBADNOTGOOD record so I'm excited about that.

Can't wait to hear Dylan gargle his way through 11 more sinatra songs today!
(The old man better come out with a new album of HIS songs soon...getting right sick of this bullshit.)
