Canada is currently top of it's group in World Cup qualifying. We beat the Mexicans last night - it's an unbelievable turnaround for our country. We haven't been to the world cup since 1986. Still have 6 games left and the table is a bit tight but even if we finish fourth in the group we get a shot via a playoff.
Most Canadian celebration ever..

Was reading an article about Canada recently , quite an interesting story with a guy from Sunderland in charge and having to unite the players.
"In his first two camps in charge, there were fights. "I am not talking tough tackles," says Herdman. "I am talking groups of guys getting after each other in big scuffles. They were really getting into it. I was like, 'Holy ****, what have I got into here?'
"The Scottish lads went one way, the Hispanic lads went the other. We have Colombians, Uruguayans, Scottish, Serbian, Jamaican. All sorts. That is the beauty of Canada, that diversity. It is our greatest strength but at that moment it was our greatest weakness."
I think I said here a long time ago if Canada ever made the World Cup, I was going.I was not anticipating the best right-back on earth showing up in Edmonton.
Also, I’m not going to Qatar.
Also, I said the same thing about going back to England if the stone roses ever got back together and look how that turned out.

Also, lots of gibberish about going to see City time and time again.
