Canada beat Honduras last night 2-0 and are still top of Concacaf qualifying!
We play the USA at home on Sunday - big big game.

It's a big game storyline-wise, but honestly the bigger one is el salvador on the 2nd. We win that, it'd be almost impossible to not qualify. We don't need to win the group, just finish in the top 3.

Always nice to hear some quality finishing was on display:
"In the 66th minute, Canadian forward Cyle Larin sent a low cross toward longtime midfielder Atiba Hutchinson. The ball inadvertently bounced off a falling Hutchinson and off the post before it then bounced against off Hutchinson’s backside and over El Salvador goalkeeper Kevin Carabantes."

Japan & Saudi Arabia qualify, Australia into the Asian play-off.
See the draw is on 1st April, England going to be in the top seeds with Qatar, Brazil, Belgium, France, Argentina, Spain and Portugal/Italy (unless neither of them make it).

Amazing, I didn't know this was on YouTube. Last time Canada qualified for the World Cup was in 1986 and the game was played here in Newfoundland. The pitch looks fucking horrible. They actually re-did this ground and put in a plastic pitch which is even worse  |
