You're not actually going to this are you, you melt? The worst band of the 90s.

Yeah I plan to get a ticket. Seen the JAMC at the Barras before and it was excellent. If I can afford it I'm hoping to see Depeche Mode as well. A few of the talks look good as well, especially the John Lydon one.

Listen to the first song on the album and see if it makes you want to listen to the rest, I guess. You'll know then. I just find stuff like that helps me get in a really calm and alert headspace. Passive head banging lazy cunt that I am.

Thoughts on the Stormzy album? There's at least 4 great tracks for me, but he's already got both eyes on the Radio 1 market and it really hurts the quality. There's some truly throwaway ballads that are pretty dreadful. I have a feeling he'll be following Dizzee down the road marked 'shit pop'.

it's a good album. i think his authenticity stays pretty intact, and the more schmaltzy numbers hold up decently imo. plus there are 5-6 superb tracks. he's represented well there i think, and there is nothing i actively dislike.
7/10

Agree wholeheartedly about 'both eyes on the Radio 1 market' comment. From what i'd heard previously he's deffo got something, but i can't find it on this record. Which tracks did you love- i'll go back to them first.
