Only kidding, I'm up for it Tux. Is this the third attempt? I reckon we can pull this off.

I did check that before starting the thread, but no, nothing new unfortunately. Hoping we can get some good numbers. The Music section definitely seems to be the most active these days.

Was this the thing SRK ruined last time with Sloan album that no one could be arsed to listen to?
Anyhow i'm in.

I'll do it on the condition the albums are available on Spotify. Have no laptop at the moment so not up anything that requires a download.

Hopefully this lasts a bit longer this time, I think it had died before I got to make my pick the past couple of times

Perhaps we should make the picks more frequent, one every three days or something? People can then dip in and out at their leisure, a bit like Lino’s Oasis A-Z Thread.
Less regimented and keep it flowing.

I don't know Kevin, seems a bit too ambitious. Anything more than a record every couple of weeks I can see this becoming more of a chore for people.

Once a week seems legit. Post it on a Thursday or something, folk can listen over the weekend and start posting on the Monday etc

I think we should let Tucker choose the time length...
Then when it inevitably fails we can all blame him.

I think we should let Tucker choose the time length... Then when it inevitably fails we can all blame him. What about 1 pick every 2 weeks? For me personally, I don't get much of a chance to listen to music on a weekend and do most of my listening on my commute and while I'm at work.

2 weeks is cool for me too, the idea is everybody involved can give a measured opinion and not a careless rushed one. Lino's thread was a nice idea but I stopped participating because it's just so fast...
Also I'd like to propose at some moment another lists thread, main options being 'all Oasis-related releases' or 'top noughties'.

I think we did a top naughties list at the start of 2011? Still Barns it isn't long now until the end of the TENS, I can't wait to post my decade list.
Oh yeah I forgot about that Oasis related releases idea, it was a good one. Though probably best to wait until Lino's song thread has played out.
Nice to see some new thread ideas lately to get people posting again.

I'll play. Every two weeks seems reasonable.

Yeah i'd prefer a couple of weeks as it gives me chance to put a bit of work in with an album
Give me only 3 days and I can't even be arsed to listen to 'Better Man' in that time frame

I'll do this on the sole condition I can post The Wynd's album.
