always find the picadilly list a bit shit. only one of their top 20 has made my current top 40.
resident records in brighton have just released their top 100 and its pretty good. will wait til some mug types it out into a nice easy list to copy and paste before bunging it in here though.

It's ridiculous this year, there's been so much shit released that I've yet to get a grips with & then there's still shit due out. Won't have my list ready for the 15th this year. I can't keep up, plus now the soapbox is completely shit I don't spend as long by the PC listening to stuff at home anymore so I doubt I'll be doing a big write up for my list either.

You can't judge the quality of a publications list by how many of your top 40 match up, especially when your list this year is going to mostly consist of bearded men plucking acoustic guitars. I was shocked to see the Uncut list didn't look exactly like how I'd imagine mine this year! |
