I never make it through any of these. Am barely tell them apart. That said his last solo album was his best imo.

Sounds like a forgettable Ian Brown album track until the chorus and then it becomes unbearable.
Also, whoever does Dwayne's artwork is soooooo OUT THERE.

Another disaster, the original song wasn't any good, but he made this so god damn plodding.

This probably isn't the right thread for this post but fuck it...
I was watching 'Supersonic' on the commute to and from work today. It was the first time I'd watched it since I'd gone to the cinema to see it.
It was genuinely heartbreaking to hear Noel talking about the band as affectionately as he did in that film.
It obviously means a lot to him, but he seems to be doing whatever he can now to destroy the legacy. I don't mean by releasing the shit he's currently releasing but just the way he talks about those days, and especially the fans.
I came away from it almost feeling sorry for him. Well as sorry as you can feel for a multi-millionaire.
He's dirt to me, but yet without him I'd not have had those songs and the memories they are so intrinsically linked to. Yet it feels like he's purposefully set out to destroy it.
He says that Knebworth was Knebworth not because 5 guys played some songs but because of the people who were there, that it was the fans that made it.
I just wish he'd swallow his pride and get them back together. They really were, for a short period of time anyway the best band on the fucking planet.

I honestly think there's an insecurity there in acknowledging oasis being as great as they because that would by definition be saying something positive about Liam. He can't bring himself to say oasis was what it was because of his songs and Liam's voice and general Liamness. And he's (particularly since As you were came out and got generally positive reviews) defensive because Liam's success diminishes HIS contributions to oasis, as in it wasn't just about him after all. Maybe not even being able to sell out the Apollo will finally knock some sense into him, but I doubt it.
We'll be back on Dr. Phil after these messages.

But he's not selling those sites because the tickets are expensive as fuck... it's not like he'll be starving in a couple years.
I dunno, I'd like them to get together and record some songs but I don't really need them coming together for 10 forced reunion shows.

Great post SJ - but why should they get back together? Their last 3 albums contain some of the worst music ever recorded, yet they’ve somehow managed to avoid the parody bin by about half an inch. The supersonic film is a great final send off and thank fuck for that.

Just checked this, holy fucking mother of god. £70 a ticket 😂😂😂 I can go see roger waters who’s shows cost 100 times more to produce for the same or less. What a fucking greedy fucking dick head.

When he said in that interview last year that he doesn't listen to Liam's stuff primarily because he cannot stand the sound of his voice, I figured a reunion would never happen.

I hope Oasis never reform and Noel continues to release 3 EP's every year until he dies.
