such a boring song, what is the point of these ep tracks?

Fuck knows what has happened to his vocals, the mixing is awful, I can’t get my head around it, has someone told him to sing differently?

All he has to do is sing like he did on dead in the water ffs

it's because he's not invested in what he's doing. he gets producers and talented musicians/singers in to bolster a half-decent melody or hook and that is all. he's been very much of the "that'll do" camp for a while now.

i mean, he's never been a good singer but to hear him sing on something like Live By The Sea (just as the first example I can think of), at least you could hear some personality and emotion spilling out (and of course, the songs were 1000x better). Now he just flattens everything.

Yeah but you’d expect some emotion in his voice to back up his claims of “I’m making music that I enjoy now” what a cunt.

I have to wonder if he's become enamored of having female singers in the band now and is trying to write stuff for them to do, but is forgetting that HE is still the lead singer and he isn't exactly Pavarotti, and might want to write something that suits his range/talents. PICK UP THE FUCKING ACOUSTIC, NOEL.

About time he reformed Oasis with Gem, bloke from Zutons, a drummer & Miles Kane on vocals.

Now that I’ve had chance to listen to it, even though it doesn’t really go anywhere I think it’s alright, wouldn’t have been unhappy if that had popped up as a latter day Oasis b-side.

Definitely his best song so far from the eps. Remix is better. Remove his vocals and you’ve got a tune

I listened to about a minute and a half; then started skipping ahead but every time I did it was just the same guitar part. It's his whispery little falsetto ish vocals backed by the female singer from his band every time that do for me

The opening 20 seconds or so are actually pretty cool

He simply hasn't got the voice. It's too annoying. It claws at the very core of my soul. In Oasis, one song wedged between some Liam sung tracks was fine. SOTSOG & DOYS were the exceptions but it wasn't so bad for me because I like the tracks well enough (even if most people do hate High Horse)

But yeah, fuck, his voice is just the worst.

He's got two songs.

1. Spoken verse and sung chorus
2. Tip hop beat with some harmonies

Done and dusted.

I always tend to watch the HOT ONES youtube channel even if I don't care for the celeb, it's always a fun 20 minutes (Chris Jericho spitting in a bin was my fav) but I got 2 minutes into Noel's one and had to switch it off for my own sanity.
