When does Best Albums of 2010s thread start

Something like bob's bootleg series shouldn't count since they're outtakes of previously released albums. However! I am totally going to include the two Coltrane albums that have come out in the last two years, since they're entirely 'new'.

I might add a couple of ep compilations too so whatever

Now people are mostly streaming the lines between EP, LP & mixtape have been blurred. I'd be all for including the Dry Cleaning & SHIT HORSE EPs on my decade list.

A bit related to that thing I said on a wrong thread about honouring consistent bands, but the opposite. There are some bands with 2/3 releases that would appear in the list if I don't cheat, but for some reason I don't want to give them that. So we'll see...

My top 100 is good to go whenever. I reckon get the albums of 2019 final list published then make a start on people revealing their decade lists.

Yeah, was assuming that people would be waiting for the 2019 lot to be done & dusted before posting anything.

Yeah. I reckon we probably have all the end of year lists we are going to get by now but maybe stick a deadline up for in a few days time in case there is any last minute additions.

Give people til Friday then you can spend your weekend adding them up before presenting us with the results on Monday.

I've still got another 40-odd albums to re-listen to in order to nail my top-110 down for the decade, so I won't be ready for another week or so. It's friggin hard to decide which Noel album should be 1st, you know?

Decade I'm going to knock off 100 real quick. I'm having a great time right now listening to older stuff that I've never gotten around to so don't really fancy revisiting loads. It'll be a more genuine & personal list this way anyway, just the 100 that really stand out for me with no revisionist history.
