Enjoying the new Doves record, it sounds.. like Doves. Almost as if they never went away. That’s part of what i love about it. No bullshit, just Andy, Jez and Jimi doing what they do. They’re just so goddamn consistent. |

OK, the Fleet Foxes record is fantastic. A bit of a throw back to the early stuff. The melodies, soaring harmonies, but slightly more complex musically (than the first album anyway). Robin Pecknold really is a hell of a song writer.
The melody in the chorus of Sunblind might be the most beautiful thing i've ever heard. And it references Silver Jews. There's more than one David Berman reference on the album actually.
