Soapbox corona project

Sorry JP, it didn't fit the high art concept of the record. Now I know how Dwayne felt when he left Stay Young off Be Here Now. 

Another track coming tomorrow which is gonna be the EP closer, it's just me and Kev again, I really love it. 

Though I wanna get one final song onto the EP and get as many people involved as possible.

SOAPBOX, THIS IS A CALL FOR HELP WITH THE FINAL SONS OF DWAYNE SONG 

Johnny has sent me a shit-ton of beats! I should be able to make a lengthy dance number out of them which means I need some lengthy spoken word pieces for it to work & to take full advantage of the material.

My idea for the track is to have multiple people read the NHS advice page. I can probably turn one persons reading into 3/4 different variants with different pitch/speeds, so if a few of you do it we'll have a claustrophobic cacophony of many different voices, could sound pretty cool. I know it's kinda long... but please, do it for Johnny... he's gone all out with these beats & you should not disrespect a man who stood face to face on stage with Action Bronson and lived to tell the tale.

Also, if anyone gets bored some extra guitar/instruments could be cool. The tracks gonna be dominated by "the man of a 1000 beats" SuperJ, though hopefully I can find a way to get some other bits in there. Jamie, anymore ambience would be appreciated. flick some different sized cups, record some mundane sounds from your home, any type of noise I can try to use for texture even if I turn them into drone pieces. 

Gonna set a deadline of Friday as I wanna have the track complete & the EP done & dusted by the end of the weekend as my attention span for these things never lasts long.

It's me on the Behringer Crave, a simple pattern which I stretched for atmosphere & then Kevin on guitar with pedals slowly fade in until they overwhelm everything. It's totally badass like Thurston Moore raping a Neu demo. Please listen loud with headphones, I really love it, mostly due to Kev's awesome noise.

Think I'm having the same problem with Johnny's beats that you had Dan, they're just not looping naturally. Must be how that app saves them, really annoying

This is ace, Dominic Raab is properly sinister bastard which just adds to the sense of foreboding.

yeah, I like how Raab's words become worthless as the noise of Kevin frantically masturbating his pedals overwhelms him.

Have the opening 20 seconds or so with just Raab talking, maybe even a bit distorted and keep him highish in the mix slowly getting quieter and quieter until conpletely overwhlemed by the noise.

Just a thought.
