haha. i've not even played it back since recording it tbh. one take recorded it and sent.

I think the final track is done. Might tinker with the sound levels a bit more, but apart from that it seems all good. Will stick it up tomorrow.

The Swede has provided some wonderful artwork for the EP which (spoiler alert) shall be titled The Isolation Tapes. I'll have it up on YellowPeril for download/streaming on Friday.

Or shall we wait until Friday for the finished record? we could have a soapbox listening party at 9pm (uk time), it'll be done by 9:30 then we'll have half hour until the Definitely Maybe one starts on Twitter with Liam, Bonehead & tim Burgess.

But the vocals need to be higher in the mix. This is the first recording I've been involved in for the best part of a decade, I demand high standards.

I tried with vocals higher, it just sounded messy with them all going off at once. I kinda like it the way it is, an overload of information that becomes just noise, kinda like the constant bombardment of news.

unless you meant turn the other 4 vocals down and stick you HIGH. Maybe I will, if only to erase JP's sarcastic tone.

tbh It's Johnny's tune, he made all the beats. I just arranged them and had them fade in and out. Was the easiest track to make minus trying to make sure you guys were all roughly the same volume, didn't want any drama queens, especially after JP got big ideas after the 1st track and assumed he was the lead singer of the group.
