Hi guys, the new Embrace album is actually decent. Went to watch them last night in Cardiff and their new stuff really impressed me, will have to give the album a whirl |

Wasn't a fan of the last album but this song has really gripped me. I love the tempo of it and the production and lyrics and vocals.

I haven't had a listen to new Whitney Yet Barns BUT the New Death Cab For Cutie (which I didn't even know dropped on Friday) is pretty fucking good. I just seen it got a 7.4 on P4K which means IT IS REALLY GOOD.

Rolling blackouts will come out at some point but when that happens it'll probably be a single. There's only a few FTA demos that really exist. Used to be lonely sounds really cool and there's an early version of FTA the song that has a whole different melody and chorus which I want to release and start playing live but as far as an FTA demo record I think it might be impossible to really pull together at this point!

It's not bad but honestly I don't know how much replay value it has. I mean I could stick it on eating dinner or reading or something but that is what it is background music. musically it's nice but dunno feels like elevator music or something. |

New Black Angels album seems decent from first couple of listens. Quite a few albums out in September/October I'll be having a listen to so might reach the threshold to make an end of year top 30 list yet!

Should we all just say now that Skinty Fia will be the #1 album on this years soapbox year end albums list. Good album but they're not popular with the majority of the soapbox tastemakers. Dangermouse would be my guess at this stage. |
