I’ll be genuinely disappointed if Rod doesn’t appear and post something equally dumb tonight. Can only assume Rhino and Kev have gone back into hiding.
Bring him on. It’s clobbering time.

Bolis Pupul: "Letter to Yu" - Bolis Pupul's "Letter to Yu" is a dynamic and genre-defying album that seamlessly fuses elements of electronic, R&B, and experimental music, with lush production and captivating vocals that push the boundaries of sonic exploration.

HOMESHAKE: "CD Wallet" - HOMESHAKE's "CD Wallet" is a lo-fi and experimental exploration of indie rock and electronic sounds, featuring laid-back grooves and off-kilter melodies that create a hypnotic sonic landscape.
Kim Gordon: "The Collective" - Kim Gordon's "The Collective" is a bold and uncompromising album that defies genre conventions, featuring experimental sounds and spoken word poetry that challenge listeners to question the status quo and embrace the avant-garde.
Loreena McKennitt: "The Road Back Home" - Loreena McKennitt's "The Road Back Home" is a captivating collection of folk and world music, featuring McKennitt's enchanting vocals and evocative storytelling that transport listeners to distant lands and ancient times.

Norah Jones: "Visions" - Norah Jones' "Visions" is a soulful and introspective album that showcases her mesmerizing vocals and evocative songwriting, inviting listeners into a world of intimacy and reflection.
Slow Hollows: "Bullhead" - There are shades of Neil Young and Elliott Smith at the core of these songs but they’re all lushly rendered, unafraid to boast rich strings, moody synths, and bighearted guitar riffs.
Tomato Flower: "No" - The debut album from Baltimore's Tomato Flower. This record takes their dreamy psychedelia to a haunting, urgent level.
Torrey: "Torrey" - Bending classic shoegaze, rainy day indie rock sounds, and 90s alt rock flair into more intricate forms, the band uses these guitar-forward songs to shapeshift between gentle drifting and noisy breakthroughs.

There's also some titchjuicy approved British Americana from The Hanging Stars out today too.
Really liking the tunes I've heard from that Torrey lp BTW. I even added one to the infamous soapy playlist the other week. What I've heard so far reminded me of a cross between Cocteau Twins and c86 style indie pop.

Yeah, I was checking out some individual tracks for the new releases last night to get a flavour of them and let their album run on a bit as I was getting into it. Could be the best Torrey album since The Last Dinner Party.
