quickly becoming quite obsessed with this album. here it is, the definitive jp verdict... raise your hands - oasis and lg solo have always been pretty good at big rousing album openers. the trend continues here with this beast. reminds me of a more playful turn up the sun. 9/10 mars to liverpool - i reckon this could have a claim for being the best track a gallagher has featured on in about 20 years. huge. 10/10 one day at a time - quite a sexy little number. i really like the way liam sings "a little romaannnnce" 8/10 i'm a wheel - pure filth. i enjoy the fact this tune is upsetting the squares. 9/10 just another rainbow - ive had a weird relationship with this tune. really liked it to begin with (listing the colours aside) but then slowly went off it. the album has given it a new lease of life and it fits in well as part of the whole piece. still loses a point for that fucking colour list though. 7/10 love you forever - this one lacks a little something for me. squire's guitar sounds good but i don't think the lyrics and melody is particularly memorable. 6/10 make it up as you go along - i singled this out as my weakest tune on the album the other day. it has grown on me since then and whoever it was that said it sounds like LG doing an early roses tune made me see this in a new light. 6/10 you're not the only one - this was an instant favourite after first listen. piano reminds me of bring the light and there's no finer compliment than that. 10/10 i'm so bored - i want to like this more than i do. i agree with tucker in that it needs to be punkier and heavier. can imagine it being a beast live but on record it kinda feels like a tamed lion. 7/10 mother nature's song - i was initially disappointed with this after the hype liam gave it but this has proven to be a real grower. squire's guitar work is quite beautiful here 8/10 average score is 8/10 so well worthy of 4 jp stars on rym This is even worse than the fucking album 7/10 post then?

After 8 listens I’m more convinced this is a massive upgrade on C’mon you know - Several tunes are real growers with “I’m a wheel” being the clear standout. Still irked by some of the albums horrendous lyrics and weak choruses.
Listened to Liam’s entire back catalogue this week as well:
As you were : very very good Gallagher squire: very good Why me why not: good C’mon you know: terrible (what the hell is up with the sound on this album? It goes from underproduced, to overproduced, to too much bass, to not enough bass from track to track, and is by far the worst sounding Gallagher record. A real angry listening experience for me .
I’m a wheel.

Been blasting it on the way to work everyday since it’s release. It’s massive.

Worth every penny I'm sure, they should be charging £2 per minute.

I think they should throw in Champagne Supernova and play Jumping Jack Flack twice but generally all for this. Play the hits and fuck off. Home for 11pm. Perfect.

I quite like it. I was a bit nonplussed on first listen but it came in sharper relief after a few plays. One highlight is I'm A Wheel. I love the way it goes from straight up blues to the anthemic chorus.

Can’t wait for the 5 star reviews of Dwayne playing his acoustic breakup album with orchestra at the royal Albert hall next year

Think the author must have been mulling their past relationships instead. NME call it MASTERFUL AND REFRESHING.

fuzzy, we all appreciate your efforts in promoting the forum on the socials, but can I suggest you change that bio pic? I feel Musk is not really on brand for the Soapy

Did think of switching to a more generic one that I think the old Soapy Twitter page used but I am certainly open to suggestions.

A solid choice for sure: combining that with the Abs one would be a real statement of intent:

It's all a bit meh sadly. I love seeing the legends together but still sounds mediocre overall. I mean, his solo his stuff is actually better. The Ross interview with Mars To Liverpool popped up on YouTube, then I watched Everything's Electric from Jools straight after, once that popped up. The latter was miles better. It's a better tune, and the performance was just better, whether that's his voice or his backing band but just a better tune all round imo. Ten or so albums down the line between the pair (at a guess?) and Who Built The Moon is the only top album. I can only suggest spending your time ditching this and spend more quality time on the following:
