shades JP, shades. how did you hear about him? he's a real talent, has a brutally powerful voice. seen him half a dozen times in the past couple of years, always a good show.

I'm not saying anything anymore. I was supposed to see Ramblin Jack Eliot last month and the rain washed the date away, and then I was supposed to see the charlies tonight and their friggin drummer collapsed.
(thinks...thinks...)
I've got tickets to see Muse!
(sits back and waits for Matt Bellamy to get run over by a bus.)

I've got tickets to see Muse! I'm so sorry. I don't actually have tickets to see Muse. I just want Matt Bellamy to get run over by a bus.

Caribou is coming to Bogotá next month; is he worth it? He gets great reviews. Ive personally not heard enough to comment, but you can do a lot worse Id imagine. EELS on Thursday night. Lookin forward to that one. Then nothing until end of the month and then Best Coast, Belle & Sebastian amongst a few others.

I'm trying to swap a night shift to see him in Leeds in a couple of months. These both look amazing:

saw caribou in august and it was absolutely amazinggg. basically they did like looong jams of their songs and it was hypnotic as fuck and i was just dancing, dancing, dancing.
you have to like electronic music to enjoy it though
edit: that sun video abs posted is possibly only about half of the song. it was fucking orgasmic

They were good supporting the Go! team about 3/4 years back, I saw them at Field Day the other month though I was too pissed to remember if it was any good or not.

I caught about 10 minutes of Ghostland Observatory last night as they were playing the venue next to the restaurant we were at and I stuck my head in. That was interesting.
EELS tonight. Ive not seen him in over a decade, so this should be interesting/biblical.
