You gonna get eddie_murphy out for that Squid gig in Tunbridge Wells, Karl? Could be the first Soapbox crowdfunder.

I've been trying to decide whether to go to that Sunday Baz, was gonna book my ticket today and then saw they've put the price up to £40. Might still come, will see. you should so man, i think it's got the potential to be an absolute corker!

My wife and daughter are going to the Dominican to visit family in October and I looked around to see if there's anyone i'd be particularly arsed to see while I have some free time and literally the only thing within a four hour drive i'd like to see is...the chieftains. Think i'll be staying home and sleeping. (Or I could sit in our National Arts Centre and pay $60 to hear the uieleililiaan pipes put me to sleep.)

Weller announced for Norwich next year too. 2020 is taking shape and my wallet is taking a hammering. Need to go though as it will be the John Maddix memorial gig.

45 quid for Weller in Norwich. Probably the cheapest I've paid to see him in a few years tbh. Saturday night too and on my doorstep. Thetford Forest this year was 55 I think and the times I've seen him in TCOTU have been even more.

Under 50 is alright, I'd probably pay 50 tops these days. If he does 02 on a Sat night I might get the cheapest shittest seats and just drink a lot.

Yeah he's still worth it I reckon. This year was maybe the best time I've ever seen him. Always mixes the set list up a bit too for each tour.
Bizarrely I must have seen him at least 10 times over the year but this will be the first time in Norwich. I think last time he played here I didn't go as I was in my too pretentious for ladrock phase.

dunno how much TCOTU is but norwich is 22quid which feels a bit much. subways seem like a 15quid band to me. 22quid to see 30mins of eddie argos is probably a bit much.

forgot to mention, i'm still obviously tempted by shed seven supported by THE TWANG at norwich uea in december.
will decide nearer the time as the past couple of years my taste in music changes every couple of weeks and seems to veer between two extremes. one minute i just want to listen to the gallaghers and shit britpop when the next minute im after as much obscure folky and far out jazz shit that i can find. no middle ground at all. i remember last time i saw the rifles i bought tickets in a big ladrock mood and by the time the gig came around i wanted miles davis not some ukip voting west ham fans.
