squid announced a norwich gig for march so nabbed tickets for that today. under a tenner a piece too which is unheard of these days.

anyone seen the streets since they reformed?

they announced a big outdoor gig in norwich for may next year today. will probably go but a bit put off by the price being 50quid. only seen them once but that was at a vfestival back in 2005 and dont really remember much. are they worth seeing nowadays?

No, I just remember everyone saying the sound was proper shit for their run of gigs at Brixton the other year.

I just finished Skinner's book & I've gotta say, it has really put me off of him. Huge chunks of it felt like complete phoney intellect that he'd picked up from a few books he's read prior to writing his own, this isn't a case of my perception of him being something different that he really is either. His hatred of the NHS & even worse... a 2 page defence of Chris Martin where he also bigs up the wonders of Muse, tasteless cunt. I would never have shouted SKINNER SKINNER SKINNER at him with those blokes from Chelmsford at the DOT gig had I knew all this previously.

im all done for gigs in 2019 now. was hoping to do the abyssinians in norwich this week but cant due to childcare arrangements. seen them before anyway.

I got a ticket for The Utopia Strong as a Christmas present. I can't wait to reignite my love affair with Steve Davis this coming Saturday. I know I didn't do a list of my favourite records of 2019, but The Utopia Strong's would have definitely been in my top 5.

british sea power just announced a gig at norwich arts centre in may. will be good to see them in such a small venue, dont think they'll be fitting any bears on that stage.
