It has some brilliant moments, specially The Turning and Falling Down. Those two songs are better than anything on Heathen Chemistry or Don't Believe the Truth.
Yeah, half of it I don't care, but at least it has 4 or 5 pretty good songs. Not horrible at all.

Not horrible at all. not horrible by any means. still the worst album of oasis career. but not horrible. just a bit underwhelming by there standards. heathen chemistry is better. i'll happily go thru track by track and explain why if u want. ;D

amazing track. liams songs are occasionally a bit more on the edgy side. my mum just entered my room, because i put it on too loud 4 her likings. annoyance. since this is my own flat and i pay rent (!) i simply threw her out.

i blinking blimey love parts of it, i think overall its a really good album. there are weak points, but find me an album without one these days, its for mine better than dont believe the truth, and its had quite a lot of longevity in being played by me. i particuraly love the noel sung tunes, and the turning and bag it up are oasis classics for me.
i agree with what kim said on the first page that it was a step in the right direction and itd be interesting to have seen where they headed next.

Bag it Up is one of their best album openers imo I also love The Turning. The whole first half of the album makes me beyond giddy! I'm partial to the Noel sung songs (anyone surprised?) too because his voice just keeps getting better and better. Waiting for the Rapture & Falling Down

they played part of shock of the lightning at the hawks game saturday night I've heard Supersonic and Some Might Say at Hawks games this season too.. I guess whoever is picking the music is an Oasis fan. Kinda cool actually.
