oasis "Dig out your soul" has..

top album, I rate it.

like almost every other song on that album they wrote to write anything besides a verse and a chorus into it

My favs are Waiting for the Rapture, Get Off Your High Horse Lady, TSOTL and Soldier On. Not sure how to rate this album along with the rest of em but it's solid. It's no Heathen Chemistry lol

Well...given you just said the only good songs on the album (aside from I'm outta time) are by the one of them that *isn't* in BDI...that might not be the proper equation.

I still rank it as their third best, behind the first two. It's the one i listen to the most lately, anyway.

BHN has better tunes, but some rubs ones, and is really overblown, and way too long. But we've had this discussion on how to improve that record millions of times It'd be my third favourite with a few alterations, but as it stands i reckon i prefer DOYS as a complete album.

Though tbh Heathen Chems is the only one i genuinely dislike, and even that has a few crackers on it.

best oasis album!

Falling Down most epic songs Noel did in oasis in a very long time. Most likely close to The Masterplan. To this day I can not give Waiting for the Rapture any credit,since the chords were Five To One by the doors.

Still Oasis 5th possible closer to 6th best record.

Am I the only person who actually ranks DBTT? I think it's an underrated little gem, A Bell Will Ring, Turn Up the Sun, Lyla, Mucky Fingers, The Importance.., Part of the Queue, Guess God Thinks..., Keep the Dream Alive.... all classics in my eyes. Probably my 3rd favorite Oasis record nowadays, after Definitely Maybe and SOTSOG

I still quite like don't believe the truth. More than DOYS, anyway. Turn up the sun, a bell will ring, guess god thinks I'm abel, and especially The importance of being idle...all latter-day classics. (The less said about 'keep the dream alive' and 'top summer tune!' the better.)
