As for the record player, it's kinda universally agreed on that the Audio Technica AT-LP120 is probably the best entry part for people buying a first record player. They've gone up a little in price since I last looked but I guess every fucking thing in this country has in recent years. I've had this now for about 7 years & i've only had to replace the stylus once. The tone arm occasionally needs recalibrating, but it's a few minute job and there's plenty of youtube videos regarding it.

As for speakers I don't know, depends on a lot of factors like how much space you have, how much you wish to spend. The good thing about that particular record player is it has a built in pre amp so you don't need to worry about that side of things, it'll just hook up to your usual old school speakers.

Are we going to get Moon Plaza on vinyl?
