Two new tracks doing the rounds (Sordo. SORDO!), Culture War and Speaking In Tongues (feat. David Byrne). Not heard em yet, mind. Still love The Suburbs. Way too long, i'd trim off 3 or 4 tracks, but there's so many great tunes on it. Sprawl II is just fantastic One of the very few bands where i've liked everything they've done so far Had the bootleg of last year's Reading set on the other day. Just great. I really need to see them the next time they banjo through

I'm a bit indifferent on the album. I find Funeral and Neon Bible better without a doubt. The 2 new tunes are okish nothing more.

Very good album but I totally over-played it when it came out, and so did all of my mates. So sadly it's probably going to take another year of avoiding before I can enjoy it properly again.

I enjoy it on the whole, but it is too long & has their worst song ever: City with no children in it. Revoltingly artless. Rococo is pretty shit too.

I can see why you'd see City With No Children In It as a throwaway but Rococo is quality. The music more than makes up for its lack of any real lyrical content.

Yeah, maybe it's mostly the lyrics. The chorus is a bit shit still.

It was alright, I preferred the Joshua Tree more though.

I was going to start a new thread and said fuck it.
I am currently listening to Arcade Fire - Funeral - I haven't listened to this album in about 15 years. I will give you my thoughts after.

Maybe I'll listen to them all and put them in order of my liking.
Stay tuned.

Funeral was quite good! Can't believe it's been that long so I listened.
I have moved onto Neon Bible (WISH ME LUCK)

Yeah - I kind of feel like every album goes downhill after the debut. Are they considered Canada's Coldplay. Hmmmm

Neon Bible was alright --- It kind of just faded in the background to me.
This is all the Arcade Fire I can take for one day. I'll try The Suburbs tomorrow.

I think Neon Bible was excellent. Ran Funeral very close for me.
Nothing that came after was any cop though.

Tried to continue listening last night and I just couldn't do it.
Went downhill a little too fast for my liking.
