I'm kicking myself I never made more of an effort to see Motörhead before Lemmy croaked it.
I still hope to see Iggy Pop, but his tours never involve Jockland.

I still think back to the Saturday night of T in the Park 2005 when I had the choice of seeing New Order (with Hooky still in the band), SFA in full Zoom-era oddness, or James Brown. Unthinkable 12 years on, given how shit the festival became.
I chose New Order partly as it was absolutely roasting (it hit 29 degrees that day, incredible for Scotland) and they were on an outdoor stage. It was a great gig and I stand by the decision. They opened with Regret and it was perfect.
But I still - oh ho! - regret never seeing Mr Dynamite himself, James Brown.

Plus missed Arthur lee because I felt the need to be at the pyramid stage 3 hours before oasis was on.

Don't hate me, but I saw that James Brown performance and that Arthur Lee performance! However, I missed Radiohead 1997 at Glastonbury to see Kula Shaker (I think.....substances had been consumed).

I did actually see a bit of James Brown, when I say a bit, I mean I walked past the pyramid stage as he said goodbye & the band did an outro But yeah, festival mistakes are entertaining to look back on. Though I don't regret it, the choices I made for the most part was what I wanted to do at that time. Though I missed Sonic Youth at V festival (imagine them at V now ) basically because I didn't want to lose the people I was with, ended up waking up on the floor & the Kaiser chiefs were on stage

I want to see the Strokes again. I saw them at Hammersmith on the 3rd album tour. I didn't enjoy it. Looked like they were going through the motions, though I was ill as fuck that day which didn't help.
There's a chance they could finally do Glastonbury this year, I see they're booked for a few festivals around that date.
