Seems like some forum member I'm not gonna mention and whose nationality wouldn't serve as a good clue has fallen down again in the dark and deep pool that is the unconscious and desperate drinking. If I don't hear any news will do the top myself. I did it on my old laptop and decided to wait a little bit for any more submissions. Since that time the hard drive crashed and I went and bought a MacBook Pro instead. I couldn't be bothered to do it all over again.

cheers barny
what a dull top 3 though. i quite like all 3 records but i don't think they're a good indication of the exciting music released last year.

I agree completely, but they're OK albums that nearly everyone here listened to, with few lists it's quite easy thing like this happen.

Fuck, been looking forward to getting home all day, thinking there'd be a few lists Here's mine, then - tinyurl.com/2we9hlsI thought you had enjoyed End Times, remember you biggin' it up You're right there, Barnpan, but tbh i went off it a bit. I actually prefer the tunes on the bonus EP Nice list(s) btw

Ryan Adams and The National in the top 10=boner. A fairly nice list overall, bit stunned that Best Coast is number one though, I genuinely like em but really don't see how that record is a good representation of them at all. Bit strange The Coral being number 2 as well as I cant recall anyone really raving about it when it came out, but while it's probably nobody's actual number 2 of the year I still quite enjoy it.
I guess my homework from this thread is the Soft Pack album, that one passed me by.

These days, i'd probably list the Beach House record higher. Really clicked for me lately. Not a bad tune on it
