It's time to start thinking about your albums/songs/gigs of the years guys  Had a word with the fine mod team we have on the soapbox & they've agreed to instant ban anybody who posts their lists BEFORE December 15th. Start thinking about it now, this is an important issue & defines you as a person on the soapbox. I'm gonna make my peace with Ben so he can return and give us his list, it's important we see it. According to Rate My Music I've listened to 33 albums from 2010, in reality it might be a few more than that so unlike last year I feel I've listened to enough to up my list. Hurrah!

Spent ages working on it this week, re-listening to records an that. It was a much better year than i originally remembered. Like the top ten tracks idea, so nicking it  |

might do top 10 eps too. this year has been fucking good for eps.
pisses me off though how a lot of the magazines and websites have been including eps and mini albums in their lists. i love the new girls ep, bsp's zeus and the two islet mini albums but fuck off are they gonna be making my list of ALBUMS.

So we can't have Shit Horse in our top albums list? Suppose that's fair to the rules but I'm disappointed. I thought I would only manage a Top 10 list but after going through my albums it appears that this year was alot better than I had previously thought. Finally found A Sunny Day In Glasgow's new album too so I'll need to listen to that in order to squeeze it into the list. (Assuming it's not shit) |

P.s, that girls EP is one of the dullest pieces of shit I've ever heard so a big LOL to jp for having it on any list.
I think with an album list you should not have yourself a limit just list everything that you thought was good & above or everything you think you will revisit a year or two down the line. If the years been shit then you won't have 50, if it;s been great then you might have 60. I've got about 30 from this year which I can say I really like & shall want to revisit for a good while to come.
