Fun TV show suggestions: The Americans (Amazon Prime) - When you don't want to worry about the virus but want to be nostalgic about The COLD War instead; been binging, almost done.
Letterkenny (Hulu) - Hilarious Caynadian comedy:

Back to Homeland after a few years break. Loved the first 3 seasons but thought it lost it's way a bit in season 4 so left it for a while.
Just finished seaosn 5 and it was perfect binge lockdown viewing. Reckon i'll get through the last 3 seasons in no time.
8/10 for season 5.

Barny in a position of power?! He's clearly unstable, and we all know he can't get a grip. Also bring back hehe so we can lash out at him again. Also delete this pathetic excuse for a forum. ps. Is yellow peril a racist reference?

Hunters - Problematic and questionable yet very entertaining and touching even, the twist was the worst I've seen in a long time though and ruined it 7/10 cause it was still very gripping
Watchmen, the HBO show, did something similar but was a masterpiece 9/10

Watch a fair bit of telly so should participate here more. Most recently...
Money Heist: Enjoyed it but not sure its as good as people make out. One of the characters sounds exactly like a Hungarian chap from the office. 7.
Umbrealla Academy, Season 1: Seen a lot of negativity about the pacing of the show but I loved it. There is so much superhero stuff around but this felt a bit different to the Marvel and DC stuff. 8.
The Boys, Season 1: Speaking of superheros, this is the best thing in ages in that genre, be that TV or films. A nice spin on the genre (I think its a comic adaption) with foul language and over the top violence in abundance. Love it. 9.
Dark: I liked this even if I struggled to understand WTF was going on half the time, just a total mind bender. 7.5
The Fall: Seen someone in this thread say its like The Wire? Don't get that myself but did thoroughly enjoy. Last episode was totally WTF but I thought the ending was shite.

Watched one ep of Umbrella Academy and swore never to watch another again. Zero charm, I thought.
Haven't watched many films at all recently, but we did watch I'm thinking of ending things on Netflix last night. I wanted to say more, but I think it's best if I don't til the rest of you who I give a shit about watch it. OK a few more things then: i wanted to say it was unlike anything I've watched but it did remind me of mother! (which i love). the cast are terrific, especially jessie buckley, who is a fucking incredible talent. oh, and it's one of the most genuinely disorienting films I've seen. Cautionary lower score that I think would likely rise on repeated viewings. But yeah, I thought it was excellent.
8.3/10
