If not the last out of the hat will have the option of picking a person they want to share a mix with as long as that person doesn't mind doing a 2nd mix

My compilation will be ready in a few hours but ffs looks like I got paired with an unknown guy who browses the board once a year. JP, if my opponent doesn't show up and Mathihihi gets what he deserves, let's swap our compilations.

Early doors, but already i'm greatly enjoying yours SC. Very atmospheric and psychedelic. Boards Of Canada 4 leef I love the way all these mixes are pretty different, and each member is bringing a bit of themself to it. Some real thought seems to be going into them. Nice

Retiredboxer and I have similar taste in certain respects, so I tried to include things I don't think he may have heard, which I dunno is possible on whole, or at least with this mix. A "hard" version is turtleed in turtle, but I also turtleed it at 8tracks so its streamable and if anyone else wants a quick peruse, although the stream order gets randomized at a certain amount of plays. Stream: 8tracks.com/ihave19voices/for-retiredboxer1. Karkwa - Le Bon Sens 4:21 2. Wye Oak - Holy Holy 4:35 3. Young Buffalo - New Beat 3:58 4. ZAZA - Arms Length 4:52 5. Exit Calm - Forgiveness 6:27 6. Suuns - Arena 5:11 7. Moon Duo - Run Around 4:42 8. Anna Calvi - Desire 3:51 9. LCD Soundsystem - Jump Into The Fire 5:57 10. Warpaint - Shadows 4:08 11. Mogwai - You're Lionel Richie 8:29 12. Swans - Inside Madeline 6:37 listening now, highly appreciated, here's my thoughts: 1. Karkwa: never heard of them but no thanks, not my cup of tea at all, had to skip it after 30 seconds. 2. Wye Oak - never heard of them either which is of course good, quite like their sound, the repetitve rhythm guitar, think the song itself is a bit generic though and I'm not a big fun of the girl's voice. 3. Young Buffalo - they sound as if they're indeed young and from buffalo, not good. 4. ZAZA - a bit boring and cliched, cringeworthy lyrics. 5. Exit Calm - remind me a lot of the verve, how the drums are played (not how they're mixed), the guitarist is like a poor man's nick mccabe, not bad though! It's the 2nd rate spirituality that puts me off. 6. Suuns - quickly dismissed them when I checked them out a while ago, after hearing this song didn't really change my mind... 7. Moon Duo - this one I like, good song that doesn't take itself too seriously 8. Anna Calvi - I dont really rate her at all, a lot of my friends praise her but none of them had anything more to say about her than that shes the new pj harvey, that sums her up for me I guess 9. LCD Soundsystem - cheers, hadn't heard this tune of theirs before. Big tune. 10. Warpaint - do like them a fair bit, cheers, made a good listen. 11. Mogwai - and 12. Swans I fucking love these two bands! Barry from Mogwai lives across the street from mine actually, I used to work a couple of shifts a week with his wife in his bar earlier this year when I was unemployed. 7.5/10
