Does anyone know where I can get artwork (fanmade I guess?) for those 12 albums Ryan released on one day years ago. You know, Sad Dracula, DJ Reggie, Werewolph & all the rest of it. A few of them are on RYM but not all. I remember around the time seeing the artwork on a site but can't find it.
BRAD??

I think I am going to turtle my Ryan Adams masterpiece in the near future. 8 discs of rare (live) recordings and unreleased stuff. From The Patty Duke Syndrome to RA & The Cardinals (1994-2009).
I feel the forum is ready for it.

Ryan Adams has admitted he was "done" with former band The Cardinals and is happier being a solo artist.
The North Carolina-born singer, who releases 13th album 'Ashes & Fire' on October 10, says he had once loved being in The Cardinals, but the final years with the group weren't easy.
"I wasn't being true to myself," he told The Sun's Something For The Weekend.
He added: It was time to duck out. I was really sick and I needed to cool it down plus I was done with being in The Cardinals.
The singer, whose breakthrough album 'Gold' sold 400,000 copies in 2001, had previously stated he had no interest in staying a solo artist - "Absolutely no f***ing way. You couldn't pay me" he said in 2007 - but attributes his change of heart to the departure of Cardinals bass player Catherine Popper in 2006.
"She was the key. So when she split it was really difficult for me," he explains.
"We carried on because we had to. I had made a commitment to shows and records but my heart wasn't in it. By the time we got to 'Cardinology' I was writing songs for the band (and not for himself).
"And they actually weren't very nice to me by the end. I don't think we were really friends any more."
Ashes & Fire sees Norah Jones appear on three songs — 'Come Home', 'Save Me' and 'Kindness' - and was produced by Glyn Johns, father of previous Adams and Kings Of Leon producer Ethan Johns.
Adams said: "She's like my kid sister. We talk all the time. I told her I was making a record and she goes, 'Well cool. I'll play piano'. It was that simple."

. It's so fucking tasteful all the way through.. I think this is a great point & also applies to Laura Marlings latest. Both records do feel a little too serious at times, as if a man with a massive ginger beard should be making them. However, both have grown on me tenfold with repeated listens, really do think both records are ace.

New Ryan Adams album is pretty good I agree. Sad to hear him bad mouthing the Cardinals and saying it's over and this and that. I wouldn't be surprised if he rejoins them at some point or should we say "they" rejoin him lol

So I've given this more than enough time to digest fully. Surprised there hasn't been more talk about it tbh. Bad points: Can't get on with 'Come Home', feels way to sentimental, not that keen on the next track 'Rocks' either. 'Save Me' plods along too much for me, a bit too close to the middle of the road. The other 8 tracks are all a great big thumbs up for me. Invisible Riverside reminds me of the strung out type of songs on Neil Young's On The Beach. Chains Of Love & the title track are my favourites. Good to have a really focused Ryan Adams record, by no means perfect, I think it could of done with a couple of more playful sounding tunes rather than the full on serious alternative/country type of sound. Lyrically it's a little too loved up at times lacking the imagery he was so good at creating with his old solo material. Either way I think it's one of the best records he's done. I wouldn't like to rank it above or bellow anything as I've neglected most his work for ages now since I got fucked off with him but I'm definitely on a Ryan Adams buzz again so I'll be dipping back into his older records in the near future. I wish Andy was still here. First I DIG THE FLOYD now I've let Ryan back in my life. Maybe me and the ginger prince could of been best friends forever

Well summed up, Mahone.
I definitely think this is a brilliant record and I liked his last one, too. Good to hear Ryan Adams back on form.

hopefully something sweet. remember when he stumbled on letterman playing so alive or that other time he was going through his homeless phase playing let it ride
it just hit me. has he ever even done conan? When Conan was in NY he always seemed to do letterman. I bet he's been the musical guest on letterman just about more than anyone else the last decade
