8/10 mostly interviews with upcoming LA hair metal bands and fans, though theres some interviews with ozzy, lemmy, and magically: chris holmes of WASP, in a swimming pool blind drunk talking about shagging groupies and pouring vodka all over himself, whilst his mother sits at the poolside. 9/10 love this film

It Came From Outer Space [1953] Still holds up as a decent sci-fi/horror, love the spooky sound effects 6 Crank [2006] I am now officially a fan of the Statham. Didn't particularly like how this film was shot, shooting straight in HD always looks a bit pony to me but minus that, what a fucking blast. Really good fun though how on earth is there a 2nd film if he falls 3,000 feet from the sky and hits the floor at the end of this one? 7

I know, I know. That is one crazy film, he chops a blokes arm off, downs a load of energy drinks, has sex in the street in front of everyone, runs around town with a hard-on, a real action hero.

he's in it right? Yeah, I always thought I didn't like him then kinda realized i'd seen him in fuck all. Probably because I had him in the next generation of action stars like vin diesel & the rock and refused to accept that anyone other than the old-school could be good. I also picked up mean machine & transporter so I might take these comments back as soon as I've seen those

I don't think it will, even if it's bad it shouldn't tarnish the film. This is england felt like we were nose dropping into the lives of these teenagers for 90 minutes, obviously the plot that drove the picture forward was important but what I liked most about This Is England & most other of Meadows films in general are the characters. I tend to enjoy the simple scenes in his films which are usually just his characters sharing a bit of banter or messing about & as it looks like he has got the complete cast back for the series it should be a blast. I wanna know if Tommo finally has a piece of Smell.
I forget how many parts it is, 3 or 4? I know somebody else has directed one of them but I can't see it not being at least enjoyable even if it doesn't end up being that memorable.

Ajami- 5/10 I saw an hour and fifteen minutes out of 2 hours and fell asleep. I think I missed something that made the film good. There's a few things that i got out of it and thats the culture of the muslim community in Tel Aviv.

The Thing From Another World [1951] Really cool to finally see the original & see what parts John Carpenter changed/chopped for his version of The Thing. Holds up really fucking well considering it's age 7.5

Bananas [1971] Wasn't very keen on this, some of the political agendas probably went over my head due to the age of the film but most of all that kind of slapstick comedy doesn't do much for me. Got a boxset of Woody Allen's films, hope I enjoy the others a more than this, was ok but didn't really connect with me. Though I had a fucking awesome surprise as STALLONE has a 40 second cameo playing a thug on the tube. 5
