Finally saw Dead Man's Shoes Was fucking top notch. I was actually shocked at the end when you... find out that his brother has actually been dead all along. I should've seen it coming as I was actually thinking "for fucks sake, his revenge murders are pretty fucking extreme for some guys that had only done a bunch of harassment and torture to his brother, who seems fine aside from his mental condition. So it did click when you find out but at first I was a bit suprised Anyway, Considine is a bad-ass, top movie! 8.8/10

a soapbox record score of 23/10 I've been waiting for this, knew it was out last month in the states thought it must be out in the next week or 2 then found out it's not out until the end of November so fuck them I'm downloading now. Did yours have subs for the spanish parts? if not was it a big deal? many scenes with spanish or not too important? Frozen [2010] Forget who hated it, either moz or roberty, kind of film like that you know what's gonna happen but I thought it was all done well, good film 7

Day of the Dead (2008) Its a "remake" of the Romero movie with Mena "Divine Hammer" Suvari and Nick Cannon receiving top billing I was flipping through the channels and it was just starting so I watched it. This movie is a no-budget piece of shit that no one in their right minds should ever watch by choice. There has to be something else worth watching than this. The plotholes are too numerous to list, the acting is stereotypical and terrible, and even the gore is stupid. Its funny to see fuckups so blatant onscreen too, like you see boom mics and set markers in various scenes. This movie is a no good piece of shit and you shouldn't watch it. About the only thing I took away from this film is when she has bangs covering Sir Rumpelkorn (the name of her forehead) Mena Suvari is quite attractive and I've always been unmoved by her before. The other people in the movie are all shit though. Fucking Ving Rhames is in it too. Hes doing well these days. 2/10 Please note that Ben was too busy to contribute to the suicide pact or fufil his mix tape duties.

Machete [2010] What a blast. When you do something like this & make it as over the top as possible it would be pretty easy to turn into a parody rather than a homage but I thought Rodriguez got it spot on. The scene where Machete rips out the blokes intestines & swings out of the building I felt the ending was a slight anticlimax, would of liked to of seen a real epic battle between Machete & Seagal though the size of Segal's gut probably prevented that. I think they should of had Machete go all out & slash up 50+ people in the final scene but still, it delivered & I think it was probably slightly better than the expendables. 8 Tony [2009] Was decent though I felt the script really let the film down. Certain scenes seemed poorly written, a real shame because the guy who played Tony was superb, the score was really haunting & there was some beautiful shots of TCOTU that show just how dark & seedy it can be. Decent but should of been much better. 6 Tony

God I wanna see Machete so bad! The Expendables Ok well I went into this not having many expectations except for loads of shit blowing up and people getting murdered like there's no tomorrow; in that respect I was definitely not didzappointed . The story has a bunch of plotholes and the acting is horrible, there was absolutely no chemistry between any of the characters. Oh and how about that awful Spanish that was spoken? So terrible it was kinda good TBH. But it was still fun, I guess. Highlight: Steve Austin's classic line "I wanna kill him" 5.87/10

Alligator [1980] 7 how would you rate this gator flick in relation to lake placid, karl? always interested in giant gator, snake, etc, creature movies for some reason. i think it's because they are 'scary' movies i can tolerate cos they're not too real.

U can get it straight off stagevu also. Erica, I've not seen lake placid, alot of those creature horrors are usually shit but Alligator is pretty good for a b-movie, worth a watch at least. Hausu [1977] Has a real cult following this one, the trailer makes it look like the most out there crazy film you'll ever see but I found the whole film pretty daft & tedious. 4 Gainsbourg (Vie héroïque) [2010] Went pictures to see this, was fucking wonderful, best film I've seen from 2010 so far. 9 Return Of The Killer Tomatoes [1988] Was surprisingly really funny, I expected it to be ultra-daft & it was but there was some really good laugh out loud moments as well, also, clooney's 80's boof rocks. 7
