A masterpiece..if you hate Wes Anderson, don't bother watching it.
I wanted to stand up and applaud each of the sections, like a bit of a cunt. Especially the Benicio Del Toro story.
And I'm not sure a better cast has ever been assembled.
Bill Murray Timothy Chalamet Tilda Swinton Lea Seydoux Frances Mcdonald Benicio del Toro Adrien Brody Owen Wilson Jeffrey Wright Saoirse Ronan Mathieu Amalric Elizabeth Moss Jason Schwartzman Willem Defoe Edward Norton Christophe Waltz and THE FONZ!!

The Batman, 8/10. Will keep things spoiler free but liked the use of the Riddler and having Batman & Gordon sort of operate as a partnership rather than just doing their own things and occasionally sharing info.
Death Wish III [1985] So fucking funny, the first two are so serious in tone then you get OAP's fighting gangs and Bronson running around the streets with a machine gun was good fun though 7
Fish Tank (2009) Really well done kitchen sink drama. I've seen Michael Fassbender in so many films now yet it took me so long to realise this fact. He's a fucking Chameleon. Great performance by him and the young girl in this. 7.75
Enjoyed this a lot but the ending let it down....all went a bit "it 2". Suppose one of the dangers of a big budget etc is that it needs the "hollywood ending" but it just seemed a bit naff and cliche. The earlier part of the film And probing into various aspects of mental health was excellent....id have kept it like that, less is more....was saying to the mrs one of the best horror films ever is blair witch coz bugger all happens, its all in your imagination. BUT that said, some proper hands over the eyes moments. 7/10
I seen this a few weeks ago and I was just blown away by it. 10/10 for me - I feel like I could just watch it over and over again and pick up on some little things I might have missed.
Brendan and Colin work so fucking great together.
Brendan filmed a movie called The Grand Seduction here about 10 years a go. He said he'd be back to do a few more and I honestly thought Banshees wasn't filmed here when it first started up. Anyways - check out The Grand Seduction if you haven't and Banshees.
I also watched Knives Out - Glass Onion over Xmas. Pretty good but not as good as the original for me. 8.5/10

THANKS
Agreed. Such a great film. Not a wasted line. The story gets so bleak in the final 30 minutes but they still manage to end on a relatively positive note.
One minor criticism: How much sunshine does an island off the the west coast of Ireland get? In reality it would be pissing with rain 80% of the time.
