A Serious Man Loved it. Don't think I've ever seen such an overtly Jewish film Great little characters and original as always. The Coen Brothers are magic. 8.5/10

"hämnden", swedish title. (dir. susanne Bier, starring mikael persbrandt etc) 8/10 drama about families, different lives etc. Not a lot different in the approach to "Babel". There's some fucking school memories from the movie too 8/10

haha Murphs I remember that poster from the old video store when I was a kid. VHS covers for crap martial arts/horror & action films always made the films look a 1000 times better than they were, mind you that poster is shit as well fuck knows why I remember it so well Death Wish III [1985] So fucking funny, the first two are so serious in tone then you get OAP's fighting gangs and Bronson running around the streets with a machine gun was good fun though 7 Bob le flambeur [1956] Working my way through my Melville boxset, preferred it slightly to Le Doulos but so far have liked the later films like Le cercle rouge & Un flic much better. 7.5 Chopper Chicks in Zombietown [1989] film was no way near as entertaining as the title 4 Casino [1995] first time I'd ever seen it, good shit, tons of stones always a bonus 8 The Wrong Man [1956] Absolutely loved this, probably in my top 3 Hitchcock films I've seen so far. 9

Pulp Fiction, started watching it pretty late so I pretty much passed out after Mia's OD, but it's a fantastic film, isn't it? Made me a bit melancholy about Sally Menke's recent passing 8/10

The Social Network Fucking loved it. Pin-sharp and directed with a wonderful lightness of touch, it's the perfect zeitgeist-raping movie really. Eisenberg is brilliant and Timberlake is pretty fucking good too. Fincher and Sorkin, LEGENDS. 8.8/10

Give it about an 8/10 if only cause it seems like 3/4's in Jesse Eisenberg gets shadowed by Justin Timberlake and his character seems to go to a second plane. It was really fucking well-edited too and the music was really good too (especially the end credits song ).

THERES BEEN A DISTINCT LACK OF HORROR FILMS WATCHED BY PEOPLE HERE TODAY FFS trick r treat (2007)7 was fairly good fun. a series of mini stories all set in the same town during a halloween night. a bit like a movie version of treehouse of horror or summat. quite camp and some good moments of gorey enjoyment.

He's Just Not That Into You Why doesn't someone poison Drew Barrymore's clothes already or slit her throat? Seriously, I'd be up for it, life in prison > having to know I live in the same planet as that stupid hack. This movie is just what I needed too (that's sarcasm), stupid men, I hate you all and your awful games. 5/10
JP, just to please you I'm gonna go watch Land of the Dead now, with Dennis Hopper and John Leguizamo, a silly zombie flick is what I need right now. Should be fun.

Night of the Demons (2009 remake) Quite possibly the worst movie ever made. 1/10 It gets one point for the scene where a chick shoves a tube of lipstick into her nipple and pulls it out of her vagina..... yeah... Also, Shannon Elizabeth has aged about as gracefully as Orchard.
