L'ultimo bacio 7.5/10 Another good Italian film. I really enjoyed it. I didn't know what to think of it since I have seen the American version (The Last Kiss which I would grade as a 5/10). Way way way better than the American version. Also a bit depressing but without Zach Braff, which is a MAJOR plus. There is just more passion in this film than the American version. Passion in friendship, life and marriage. Oh, and the women are prettier. Which its strange since you would think at least the American version which is a copy could have topped but not really. The Italian women are beautiful in this film.

jouyuux noel (2006) good war film. its about that christmas during the first world war where they stopped the shooting in the trenches to celebrate christmas with eachother. pretty good, but also pretty standard. Though its nice to see a movie about the forgotten world war. Im showing it in class to give the kids an insight into the first world war lol. I think it will work. 7/10

True Stories: Mike Tyson
Just watched this on More4. Wasn't intending to watch it but after the first 10 minutes it gripped me and I literally couldn't stop watching. Great in depth interview spanning the whole of his career and before and after.
Watching some footage of when he first became the world heavyweight and he looks amazing. Phenomenal power and speed.
What struck me most was how intelligent he is, quite similar to Liam Gallagher as in his public image is quite negative and is viewed as being the opposite of intelligence. But if you look at the context of what he is saying and the fact that they may be limited by a poor education and vocabulary, then he comes across very well. He explains himself, his actions and reasons very well.
9/10 enjoyed it very much, and has changed my opinion on him as I never really knew much about him before.

Due Date [2010] 6 How's the chemistry between those two? I wanna see it. Party Down season 1, 8.68/10, how fucking underrated is this series? Definitely cult material and I wanna bang Lizzy Caplan until the cows come home. It's freaking hilarious, not lol necessarily, but really funny and smart and quirky. Loveit.

The Town - 8/10
I seen that this movie got a 94% grade on rottentomatoes so I decided to go to the cinema tonight to check it out. I thought it was very good, I had a time in my life when I really despised Ben Affleck (Must have been the Jennifer Lopez period) but he's really put out a few good movies lately. He also directs this one.
Worth a look for sure.

dave gorman's america unchained (2007)8.5 i think i gave this 10/10 or something stupid the first time i watched it a few years back. just rewatched it as ive recently finished the book. still really enjoyable and im a huge gorman fan, but as with most things THE BOOK IS BETTER. TYSON THE MOVIE (2008)7 pretty interesting but i wasnt a big fan of the way it was edited and overlapping his voice on top of itself and shit like that. also i would of liked it to focus more on his boxing career than all the out of the ring stuff but i guess its to be expected that all that shit would be given a lot of coverage.

House MD Season 7 Episode 8
I actually kinda liked this episode.. One of the better ones in the current season.. Everything is kinda going to shit for pretty much everyone, and the show is never stronger when that happens imo. Plus I like how Chase is actually really funny now and actually a worthwhile character. He served pretty much no purpose for the six seasons before this one.
7/10

^ agreed. And hello there, Erica. Blimey, its been a long time since i've read this thread, and it's nice to see it's all pretty much business as usual. Some quality choices (and arguments ) Glad to see TheMex still loves Fargo, too! Scott PilgrimI see you loved it Erica, but i gotta say, i didn't. I really wanted to, as i like Edgar Wright, but i just found this really try-hard and well, annoying tbh. Shame. Lately i've been getting round to Roman Polański's stuff, and so far i've seen Rosemary's Baby (loved it), and Repulsion (loved it too, but not quite as much. Pretty hard-going, tbh) Also saw Mulholland Dr., which was bizarre and entertaining. Think i've seen most of David Lynch's work now, and have enjoyed most of it. Have really loved going through The Office US again, too. In other news, i don't buy quite as many DVDs these days Films i really wanna see atm would be Monsters (there's a torrent. I'm well tempted), and Duncan Jones' second film Source Code (though i think that's not out for months yet). Troll Hunter looks a laff too. Reminds me of my nights on the pull.

Heh, have indeed! Really enjoyed it. Have you? I'm not buying Empire anymore, cos they gave it 3 stars, when in reality it shoulda been nearer to 26
