It's out friday here.
It was only shown at certain film festivals in 09. IMDB will always list from when the film was shown first. It never came out until July last year in the states.

LOVE Wall-e. love love love. The first bit when he's on earth are some of the best moments I've seen on film in recent times tbh. I know it's late but this is so true.

I like how he's losing the competition but still has decency and respect to illustrate his rivals about the tricks of imdb

Kynodontas(dogtooth) 8.8/10 usually i can't stand arthouse stuff as it bores me to no end, but this one is disturbing, messed up so it's hard not to be glued to the monitor.

Yeah Dogtooth was one of the best films I saw last year. Like you this sort of thing would usually be a bit too much for my tastes but after it finished it was all I could think about for days.
Ana, I think you should say sorry for your last laughing smiley. We are having a friendly competition I thought, why would you mock me? If you want war, I'll bring war.

#27 Rebel Without a Cause (1955) Dennis Hopper must have a good 20 minutes screen-time in this yet only says about 2 lines throughout. Good stuff though some major homosexual overtones going on. Holds up well, 8 #28 La ragazza che sapeva troppo [The Girl Who Knew Too Much] (1963) Fucking love John Saxon, such a sexy bastard & always elevates a film higher when he's in something for me. Good stuff, seen as the first Giallo though doesn't have many of the conventions that would later define the genre. The best Mario Bava film I've seen so far but yet to really be blown away by anything he's done of yet. 7 #29 Operazione paura [Kill, Baby, Kill] (1966) Another Bava film. Decent gothic tall, was good in places, not so good in others. Certainly felt longer than 80'odd minutes. 6 #30 Basket Case 3: The Progeny (1992) Better than the 2nd one but still pretty shit. The first one works because it looks so completely no-budget where as the two sequels look professionally shot yet still with the same crap effects. Also the bloke who plays Duane somehow gets fucking worse with each film. 4 #31 The Good, the Bad, the Weird (2008) Fucking fantastic. One of the best shot films I've ever seen. The way the camera would pan from an explosion across to another scene so effortlessly was breathtaking. Tremendous fun as well. Same story as the good, the bad, the ugly yet done Indiana Jones style. I had so much fun with this & it felt nowhere near it's two hour running time. Tempted to give it a 9 but will wait until I watch it again to see if it feels just as exciting second time around. Was the most expensive Korean film of all time when it was made & you can see why.. High recommended. 8.75 #32 Good Guys Wear Black (1978) Don't fuck with Chuck! My dvd was a fucking terrible print of this, the opening 20 minutes of war shit were so dark you couldn't see what was going on Rest of the film was pretty enjoyable. Chuck reminds me of Rollinice in this one, i.e complete don. 6.5

[038] Cape FearDe Niro is as good as always but I'm not sure I bought the Italian-American doing a Southern accent thing. Oh well. It kept me intrigued the whole way through although this is not close to being Scorsese's best I'm afraid. I'd like to see the original cause Gregory Peck is da man. 7/10 [039] The PrestigeUm, what was Nolan thinking casting Scarlett Johansson as a British woman? Didn't he notice she um, CAN'T SPEAK LIKE A BRIT? Awful casting choice, although I suppose they needed a sexy, sultry actress for the role. I'm just sad that's Johansson is the only choice for that kinda role nowadays. SHE ISN'T FFS. Anywyay everyone else was good, I could see the end twist coming 4 miles away, but I realized that all through the film I didn't look at my watch once, that's a good sign considering I have a low attention span when it comes to films. Anyway Rebecca Hall is great, there's something about her that makes me want to hate her, but I can't. If there was ever a film about my life I'd like her to play me. 7/10

American History XI've seen it before and it's always very watchable however I actually think it's one of the most overrated films of its generation. A very heavy-handed approach, with tortuously portentous slo-mo's, close-ups etc. There's just no nous or imagination in the direction. It's also immensely predictable and the change from Ed Norton being a daft Nazi racist to a reformed character of courage and regret just isn't believable enough. Ed Norton is pretty great though and the scene around the dinner table packs some punch. The whole thing could just do with a shot of directorial intelligence and proper character arcs though. 6.1/10
